it is a giganoto! - a giganoto was'nt that big at alle, it was just slightly bigger than t-rex, and not in the near of being as big as big as spino... beside, the allosaurus didn't even live in the same timeperiod as argentinosaurus... the allosaurus lived in the Jurassic.. the argentino lived in the cretaceous

The way this depicted Giganotosaurus is worse than the way JP3 did to Spinosaurus. Giga's snout is way to thin at the tip. Its arms are taken straight from an Allosaurid, and it hunts in packs on it. Which we have no of evidence at all. But im not putting Giga down, it and all Carcharodntosaurids were designed to take on giant Sauropods SOLO. They just couldnt hunt other prey very good thats all.

just to add.. it might even be possible that there may have been one dinosaur that grew to 50 or even 60metres. unfeasible maybe but there are many yet to be discovered. At one stage we believed animals like diplodocus and brachiosaurus were the longest and largest but of course those records have been shattered since. I believe age was the key with size. The older the animal got the bigger it got. Maybe some sauropods didnt stop growing

I'd say for now the Blue Whale is the largest animal to ever have existed until we find definite proof. Who knows, we may even find an dinosaur that was impossibly large yet. They get bigger every time!

Yes, they did find a huge bone that where 30% larger than argentinosaurus i believe, i cannot exactly remember... but i honestly doubt that the blue whale is THE largest ever, we simply have not found deffinate traces of a bigger animal.

If it was hollow and the tooth was sharp and more compactly smaller it would be more durable than a 6 inch sharp hollow tooth.And no Spinosaurus teeths arent even larger to a T rex's.Spinosaurus teeths are ment to hunt fish and its claw is designed to grapple the fish like nets.And also if the tooth was hollow and it bit down on a prey it would do some damage but the tooth will still shatter.

Sure it had hollow teeth but take into acount that a bite from it to the neck of a sauropod would be lethal to the sauropod, but back that up with a bite of at least 2t, and you get a dangerous giant. nott a wimpy fish eater but a giant opportunist, eating fish (which for your info were armoured and could exceed 6m), ouranosaurus and probally even sub adult paralititan and Aegyptosaurus.

psh. that's an estimate. not an accurate size. to date, the confirmed size is between 14 and 16, depending on your source. 18 is a rubbish estimate, and is as valid as the new Rex find that was supposedly 20% larger than Sue...in meters that would be about 16 meters. so yeah...talking based on estimates works both ways...

acctually based on its relatives a spino with a 1.75m skull (the largest currently known) would be at least 17m. the only estimate to refute that is inacurate as it used tyrannosaurs ect to get an estimate. Thats wrong because they are built differently. Even the most conservative sizes for spino put it at the largest.

@spideyrocks45 Nah, the giga was much bigger and higher then a the rex, the rex couldnt even bite gigas neck. The rex had about 50 razor sharp teeths, while the giga had long slicing teeths. Let me giva an example, the heyena is the rex and the giga is the lion. The heyena has strongers jaws and is more intelligent, but the lion is overall bigger and much more powerful.

giganotosaurus and carcharadontosaurus were far more primitive species than the animals which lived during the late cretacious (that includes t-rex). i don't see the point for such a thing anyway, all animals evolve differently to maximize their survival in their own environment. giganotosaurus was very 'dumb' compared to t-rex if you look at the volume of the braincase. also, giganotosaurus was barely any larger than t-rex - it was heavier.

@GawjuiceRoxy Gigantosaurus may have been bigger, but it's teeth were for slicing flesh, Tyrannosaurus Rex's teeth were made for taking ENOURMOUS chunks of meat and even crushing bone, if it has to. Along with the fact that while Giga took down even sauropods, T-rex had to compete with more defended dinosaurs such as Ankylosaurus or Triceratops. Giga would probably win in a shoving match if the two decided to fight for territory, but a few bitesor headbutts from T-rex and Giga might walk away!

Not true, Giganotosaurus is recongnized as the biggest carnivore dinosaur found. Altough there is news of an even bigger carnivore, found in Argentinia! Only a few pieces of bone were found, so paleontologists aren't quite sure if this could be a carnivore wich is even bigger than Giganotosaurus.
