It is originally from Requiem for a Dream(year 2000). The song, Lux Aeterna, is the movie's theme music. Many other movies and trailers have used the song afterwards though, making many people believe it came from a different source.
Octocat truly is an excellent metaphor for modern day culture. It shows through the use of abstract art and absurd colours that although we see life as a dull, grey world. It really is the only life we have and we should live it to its extent as octocat does.
Drudgery is just wool being pulled over our eyes by "the man" and if we look past the wool we see octocat.
Mind if I use this for my feature film that will be based off my Octocat book?

Octocat, decides to go on an adventure, but finds a tree that suddenly scares him, then he goes to drink some tea, and relaxes.
And when you thought it couldn't get any better,
he decides that he will find his parents.
This tale of tragedy, romance, regret, has a deep and profound plot which will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to the end.
Truly, and epic masterpiece and a must see.
