Cuz in truth its all it is, they become tolerant. just take your time an be persistant but gentle an keep your handeling times minimal like 5 min or so an use a snake hook to hook train an help block those strikes ;)

I have to agree with joeprestara. obviously showing high levels of defensiveness...should have just saved the camera for the next time, or get a nice tripod so its not bouncing all over the place pissing it off even more.

if they are blue you can get a squirt bottle and mist them down before you go in... it always relaxes my snakes when they are in shed to get misted down.

I dont know a lot about snakes and I feel stupid asking this.but can you explain to me why the snake being in "shed" would make her more aggressive than normal?does it hurt them when they shed?

@horsley51 many species of snake have realy poor eyesight, so when they go into shed or "blue" the caps over the eyes turn a milky white an makes it harder for them to see so they can't tell the diffrence visually if soemthing resembles danger so they get alil more agressive as a defensive measure.
