  • It is what is called counterpoint. With Handel you get almost none; with Bach it's all over the place. At 1:43 here begins one of my favorite of all Bach fugues. Often it's played too slowly, but not here

  • Just the baroque sound I like. It's not a "symphonic group" and the number of performer looks like those it must be at Bach period. Very fine. Thanks a lot.
