  • Is it possible to use pre-packaged sound effects audio using this APP?

How can I apply a different sound effects on each channel?

Where is & would the pure data software help me?

    Is it in AU Lab?

  • how do you call what type of software AU Lab is? I use Linux and Windows, and would like to have options for this "channel mixer" on both systems, but don't even know how to look for it! thanks.

  • @ninja1dalbem AU Lab is part of the Xcode developers suite and is a native OSX app. I'm not sure something like this exists natively on Linux or Win. Closest 3rd party app I've found for this is Forte (Google "forte brainspawn")

Sorry I see your question is about 8 months old, but anyways, there might also be other people who are interested in knowing this.

I would say that this software is kind of like a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) but with primary focus on midi control. I would believe software like Cubase for example would be able to perform similar feats on Windows, and possibly Rosegarden on Linux. Au Lab however is obviously very specialized in this particular task...
