  • contd...Watching God is enough for u to believe in him. Coz watching God is a miracle. If God appears to everyone. Then its no more a miracle and u will want God to do more sighs and wonders for you to believe in him. Just think if God appears to every students studying in a college. Everyone one of them may ask him to make them their college topper. Now doesn't it get totally messed up?

  • As u know there are many gospel people who says they have seen God. They say that God appeared to them and changed their way of living. I believe that at least half of them are saying the truth. Now u may ask then y dont he show himself to every disbeliever. U wish God to reveal himself to everyone???? Just think how funny it will be then. People will start to behave same as have people behaved when Moses showed sighs of God. contd

  • If you were to get the answer to this question, would the answer change your heart or do anything to make you cry out to God and ask for mercy? You seem very educated and knowledgeable regarding the Bible and ask great questions. I don't think getting an answer even if it was from God would change your heart. Why are you challenging Christians? The answer is, because you know all other religions are false and Christianity is the only true belief.

  • @kimkerchner ...just...help me out for a sec...Christianity is the only true belief???? fogive me if I'm wrong but there were hundreds of different religions before christianity started. Jesus himself wasn't even christian.. HE WAS A JEW!!...so whats so special about christianity? I honestly think every religion is its own interpretation of each other...they ALL sound the same in some ways. maybe if people opened their eyes we'd see sometimes questions aren't as bad as they seem.

  • @Vonniesistah Christianity seperates itself from all the other religions in one major way. All religions require you to do something, to make yourself right with God. Christianity is the only belief or faith that has made you right with God thru someone else. Profound to say the least. That someone else is Jesus Christ. The Son of God who came to earth, and died for you and took your sins to the cross and imputed His holyness on you. Jesus was a Jew, and Christianity is the only true faith.

  • @Vonniesistah Because we have limited space, please ask me one question at a time. Glad to answer, however, you are asking a number of different questions. As for your interpretation! The Word of God is not meant to be interpretated. It's not written for you to determine what you think it means. God's Word was written with a specific meaning and because you do not grasp the message you interpret and make up your own meaning and your own god.

  • @Vonniesistah Your statement " Jesus himself wasn't even christian.. HE WAS A JEW!! makes no sense. Christianity is for all people who place their trust in Jesus Christ for eternal life. Acknowledgeing you have sinned against God, ask God to forgive you. Place your trust in Jesus Christ for eternal life and Repent. Which means stop sinning against God. Stop doing things that are offensive to God. This is Christianity. This free gift is for all those who want to know God.

  • @Vonniesistah If you are asking me if Christianity is the only true belief the answer is YES. It is irrelevant that there are and were hundreds of different religions before Christianity started. Having many religions do not mean that any of them are the right one. Salvation today is the same as it was 6,000 years ago. Salvation comes by faith. You can not please God, unless you have faith that there is God. Read Hebrews Chapter 11. It explains faith.

  • @Vonniesistah When you read the Bible without a relationship with God or without sincere interesting in finding God, the words in the Bible will seems like words and stories with little or no meaning. But when you have a relationship with the God of the Bible, the words you read become words that speak directly to you and your circumstances. This is the way God communicates with those who have faith in Him and follow HIm. God lifts the viel or blinders to His sheep. We see what non belivers dont

  • @kimkerchner ...agh....forgive me once again...i'm not someone who bases all of my beliefs on faith...i trust facts more because in reality...facts get u places...knowledge is power...so when i read something like the bible its hard for me to believe half of that stuff actually happened. maybe there was a man named jesus who was a good man...fine i'll give u that...but this whole performing miracles is crud...if he could perform miracles why is it that others who did the same were witches??

  • @Vonniesistah When you fly in a big plane, do you make sure there is a pilot, or do you go to your seat and hope you land safely? When you get in your car, do you check the breaks to make sure they work or do you trust the car to work as it should? When you eat a meal, do you inspect the food to make sure it is safe or do you eat it? With respect, you have faith in a big plane, your car and fast food, but you need facts and proof that God is who he says he is? Why is it different with God?

  • @kimkerchner ...why does God act more like a king/ruler than a real father...maybe his methods r different from my dads but he basically says "if u believe in me then i shall protect u...if not...fuck u go burn in hell..." what kinda dad is that? once again im not him so can't really speak for him, but why would he leave us here confused and begging for answers, only giving us cute little riddles that make no sense. so we keep believing in him from fear, since we cant answer the riddles

  • @Vonniesistah You see God as a bully father. God sees you and me as wretched sinners who broke his laws, commands and children who are disobediant. We deserve punishment like all children who rebel or disobey. Because God loves us (his children) discipline is necessary otherwise God would not be just. God must punish sin or He would be a bad God. Sin like murder, adultry, whatever can not go unpunished. Sending Christ to pay for our sins against Him was the ultimate love offering.

  • @Vonniesistah We don't go to hell because we don't believe in God, we go to hell because we have sinned against God and punishment is necessary. For those who place their trust in Jesus Christ for eternal salavation are those who are saved from the punishment. God/Jesus Christ accomplishes two things when He died for us. He saved us from eternal seperation in hell and grants eternal life in heaven with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Why do you refuse to recieve this free gift?

  • @kimkerchner ...if he has nothing to hide...he should have no problem answering my questions...if he loves us and cares and doesnt want us to go to hell, he should have no problem bursting from the sky say "here i am!"... honestly...i dont want u to change ur views on god, i like how u believe in something and a better life...i believe there is a god...but not the god explained in the bible, thats why im agnostic...keep with the comments tho...i love it

  • @Vonniesistah Hebrews chapter 11 expalins what pleases God. It's Faith. The people in the Old Testament where saved the same way they are saved today. By faith. God loves those who believe without seeing. Not some blind emotional belief. But the kind of belief that says, I acknowledge my own sinful nature. I offended you. I am sorry. Forgive me and revile yourself to me. When you do this. God will send the Holy Spirit into your heart and change you from within. That is being born again.

  • @Vonniesistah I do not have enough charaters to expalin Born Again. Born Again is dying to the things of this world and getting a new heart and new start with God. God writes new laws on your heart and when you change from within, rather than on the outside (trying to be good and do good) you have a born again experience that is everlasting. God will open your eyes to the many mysteries and parables who spoke about in the Bible. Be careful, not all Christians are really Christians.

  • @Vonniesistah If you are seriously looking for answers and seeking God, you will find Him and all that is true. If you are looking for contradictions, errors and things Bible verses that people have twisted, you will find exactly what your looking for. You will either find God or you will not. I hope you are serious about finding the true God of the Bible. God has nothing to hide and as His represenative I will do my best to answer any questions you have. I don't have all the answers.

  • I think you are in a serious fight with God but this rage wont help. you need to admit that you are nothing without HIM and apart from HIM you can do nothing. His favours only HE knows WHY ,only a man like Jesus can answer accurately ,you dont have that right now ,you are asking people who dont know what they are doing, seek GOD WITH A GOOD WILL AND YOU SHALL FIND HIM

  • For a serious answer to this difficult question, you might look into the theory of middle knowledge. The theory goes that God, as an omniscient being, knows how you would respond to any particular revelation or message. He only presents evidence to those who He knows would respond to it and be saved. Some people might take a revelation like Paul's as a gross insult to their autonomy, and would not be saved. God is under no obligation to present such evidence to those for whom it would do nothing

  • @JWHurwitz "He only presents evidence to those who He knows would respond to it and be saved. "

That also means he created people knowing that a large portion of them he would then get to torture in hell, hardly a good defense.

  • @humanistheart I had to be brief in my reply, but I intended to mean "evidence of the type that is demanded in the video". The Bible states that God reveals himself to everyone by the witness of His creation, and by the moral law written on their hearts. If the Theory of Middle Knowledge is true, then many atheists are asking for evidence that would actually turn them further away from God, while they already have sufficient evidence for belief all around them and in their hearts.

  • God talks to you everyday. You just do not recognize it. He talks to you through other peoples inspiration and debauchery. There is no still small voice but a panorama of human thought and activity which proves the truth of God's Word. Many times we see our weaknesses in other people and we also see inspiration in other people as well. Why did God communicate directly with Paul? Probably because he knew what an impact Paul would have. Paul wrote half the New Testament.

  • @humanisheart

Now I see, what's up with you.

A lack of historical records doesn't bother me.

  • @azsuperman01

1st, during the time of the Apsotles, there was no New Testement, the Apostles taught from the only scriptures that were available in their day, The Old Testement.

2nd, Your tryimg to make it sound like there is no way that Paul, could have seen or known of Jesus. Paul was alive, and living in or around Jerusalem during the time of Christ, plus Jesus was so famous, that at the least, he had heard of him.

All of Gods servants are Chosen by God himself.

  • @Bepps100 Actually jesus wasn't well known in his own time, assuming he lived at all. This is evidenced by the near complete lack of historical record of him.

  • @azsuperman01

The World is invited by Gods call, but not many are chosen.

Mt. 22:14 “For many are invited, but few are chosen.”

The chosen of God have a different purpose than the rest of the world.

The Chosen, are given an oppourtunity to become the very government of God, and qualify to rule with Christ if they except, then overcome.

Everyone else is part of a great multitude, that will not live untill after Christ has ruled with his elect 4 1000 years.

  • paul - the self-appointed, contradicts himself, is antithetical to jesus, & apparently provided no corrections to the gospel writers. does it make sense that paul meets the disciples before they write their gospels, claims to have corrected them, writes his letters, then the gospel writers write their letters... & those gospels are without paul's corrections? if someone corrected me before i wrote an important letter, you can bet that letter would have the corrections in it... not the mistakes

  • Again...Not all Christians are Catholic.

Why does God give this evidence to only some people? Who knows? But I don't think God took away Paul's free will just by showing himself. That's silly. It sounds like a reason made up to frighten people into not wanting that encounter and follow blindly. "Oh, I don't want to lose my free will! I hope I don't see God." NO that's just dumb.

People get what God sends them and if they still don't believe, well too bad. Try it again next life.

  • Two reasons: 1) Paul latter went on to write a third of the new testament, plant churches across the known world, and his teachings converted thousands. So by doing this to Paul God saved many others.

    2) The evidence is always there. If we don't beleive it it has nothing to do with logic, it is a matter of the will. we dont WANT to beleive. God revealse himself to everyone to some extent. We just need to stop being stupid and accept the evidence for what it is instead of BSing it away

  • GOD does not and is not obligated to do anything with or to or for anyone THIS is a good example of mans sin GOD only does this for the people whom HE dires to know and call HIS own

  • Too easy! God revealed himself to Paul because unlike you Paul was on fire for righteousness and for God. He thought what he was doing was righteous as he was taught as a Pharasee under the teachings of Gimelael. But he was wrong, and God corrected him. People like you do not believe and would not believe even if extrodinary evidence is give, like talking to God himself!

Paul had freewill after he meet Jesus Christ, because he was still free to reject Christ and continue on his own way!

  • yup thats exactly what happend to me and millions of christians here our testimonies they are so amazing and extrordinary so amazing beyound a shadow of a doubt. that is so cool God used one who killed christians to bring christians. Paul was the great hope of the anti christians so god used him to be pro christian cool aye

  • First of all, Paul wasn't converted on the road to Damascus. He was confronted by Christ's voice and blinded by a great light. He was told to go to another place where a man would meet him that God had told in a vision to do so(confirmation). The Gospel was then given Paul by Ananias and got sight back. He could have walked away but followed Christ from that day on as was free to do as an act of his own will, making the Lord Christ's will his will, no more hard pricks to will to kick against.

  • Because God had a plan, and in paul & thomas' time, they were in the midst of it. Only jesus was gone, not the apostles. & Paul new his conversion meant his death, so God DID appear to him, and Paul chose Christ & death, with the promise of eternal life for his work in proclaiming the NEW news. BONUS- whatever christian said God wont appear because it takes anything away, knows nothing. And Jesus appeared to paul, not God, and Paul used his free will to glorify Him to his death.

  • God didnt take away Paul's freewill. Paul was d hitler of those days & christians were d jews. christians cried out for God 2 deliver them & being d God who hears d cries of his people he would have had 2 kill paul but God had a greater purpose for his life. rather than killin paul, make him his greatest apostles but paul still had a choice either continue in his old ways & remain blind forever/die or believe & b saved. tbc

  • @sweetdietqueen cont'd

I believe God would have killed paul not cos he didnt believe but as an answer to the prayers of the tortured christians. Also Its a way of God passing along his message that anyone, no matter what they have done in their life can still be forgiven and saved and their past crimes wiped away. u see it as God taking away Paul's free will, i see it as God delivering Paul from mortality

God absolutely reveals himself to people & i dont consider that taking away freewill

  • Why so unhappy that God hasn't shown Himself to you?

  • Whats the point of your videos? You come up with these metaphors that don't coincide with the teachings of the bible. You make claims and statements that are supposedly the teachings of God, but they are not. You twist and make your own interpretations of the bible, and then come up with a "tough question for Christians". You obviously don't have a legitimate desire to understand the Bible with your "tough questions", since you insult and obviously are ignorant. So whats ur point of these vids?

  • @Breakdown916 @Breakdown916 Points? What points? He's asking a question... Not giving points! If you don't have the answer, don't try to be smart and be defensive about it... Let other clever Christians answer it...

Can't you see he's obviously looking for answers???

As a Christian you ought to help him in a nice way... Give him the answer if you have one...

Be a Christian if you are a Christian... Be an example....

  • @zTx1001 I would love to answer his questions, but like I stated before: he is NOT looking for answers. His main objective is to mock Christianity. He does not have a legitimate desire to learn the Bible. His ignorance led him to atheism and now his on mission to discredit the Bible. He completely twists and misinterprets versus from the Bible, with examples that waaaaay off.I have read and studied the Bible since I could read. And believe me, it is a book of knowledge and wisdom like no other

  • @Breakdown916 I understand what you think and how you feel... I have to be very honest with you, I am not a Christian myself, well my parents are, and I have been Sunday school since I was a kid. I later then start to think and wonder, cause I have a group of mixed religion friends.... We all get a long together, Muslims + Christians + Buddhist + Hindus... When we go out clubbing or socializing, we never bring up any points which might offend another.... But!!!!!

  • @Breakdown916 Yes... But! I one day realize one thing... A lot of people were brought up that way (religiously) And they have been planted with all the religious rules... I mean, have you ever thought that you were actually born in to a Muslim family instead, where your family teaches you the Quran instead... And a Muslim took your place and was born to your family? Now tell me... Will you still be saying all these? Where by now your believes are only Christian believers only goes to heaven...

  • @zTx1001 and the non believers goes to hell.... So that is why I then starts to question... I am not a person who likes to read.... Or should I say read and to believe from what a paparazzi wrote or even a writer himself who writes about himself (I am sorry if I may sound rude to you but I am just making an example for you) ... People like me wants an answer from the true god... And most of us are living in fear... What if... What if.... What if.... Its not easy... Yet we want a direct answer..

  • @zTx1001 Dear Breakdown, hope you're not offended by any of my words which in any case might sound offensive... My "intonation" towards my response is in a calm and query manner.... I have no any other rude intentions nor any hatred towards religions.... I totally respect all religions and your believes and many others...

    Cheers =)

  • @zTx1001 I was born to atheist parents, although my parents and siblings all excepted Christianity and very closely follow the Bible. Most of my relatives are still atheist, so I have heard every argument. I have seen both sides. They have mocked and ridiculed the bible, but what is happening now is different. It's no longer someones opinion, but a campaign, by atheists, against Christians (not religion). And as far as Islam goes, I thank God often that I was called to the true faith.

  • @zTx1001 Also, if he (or you) studied the Bible with an open heart and asked God for wisdom, you would see that whatever is happening today is according to what the Bible said/warned would happen. I'm not talking about some vague predictions. I'm talking about the exact perditions. The bible is not a earthly book. Its really not. No historian or scholar can explain the bible. But when god opens our spiritual minds, the understanding and knowledge is endless.

  • YOU DONT EVEN HAVE THE RIGHT STORY!!! Saul suddenly became blind on the road, stumbled into a christians house, got converted, and was healed by god!!!!!

Read the bible before you say these things. I ALWAYS read parts of the Quran before I tell of them!!!

  • Same answer as the last question with one other thought. Luke 16:19-31 is the story of the rich man and Laz. Notice if they believed not Moses and the prophets neither would they be persuaded even if one rose from the dead. So it is so simple

  • learn bout the nature of God b4 asking..need to learn more not only being updated by bible gradually, that is what people always do..like got an anxiety attack aftr reading a verse..there a lot of bombasticly meaningful verse or quote but can any of these really matter if it's not God who loved us first n how many people?..believe in Jesus n u'll have yr own cross to carry 4sure..no believe Jesus=no cross=no nothing=strayed jews during exile=whining here n there,running2,head spinning, grumpiness.

  • Paul met with Peter, a disciple of Jesus. There's one reason for the first question. God has a plan and it's perfect. It HAD TO HAPPEN THAT WAY. Sorry if it doesn't ring a bell to you or "feels" like it could be different. Our minds are infinitesimally smaller than that of God's.

Also Jesus said: “BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SEEN AND YET HAVE BELIEVED”

Second question: I think he did take away his free will to be an atheist or believe in false idols. Imagine seeing God. There's no turningb

  • @danielrrjd Would you believe if I were to tell you that I flew like Superman by writing u a novel?????

What he meant was.... Why god only showed himself during those days and no longer poping every now and then like.... erm... "Now"???????????

I am seeking the truth too... And as the matter of fact... Most of his questions are actually what I have thought...

Now why can't you give a direct answer (if you want) Why can't god just be straight forward and just says hello once a while...????

  • @zTx1001 Do you like your freedom of choosing what to believe and what not to believe?

What if one day you woke up and God was there by your side? Could you then be an atheist? Only if you are really crazy,

So the whole point of this is for you to find the purpose of it all. Otherwise why existing? why suffer?

The good news is God did showed himself to us. And He made a new pact with us. The old is old. Now there's a new one! That's why these people couldn't help but to die for him.It happened

  • @danielrrjd Sorry Daniel... But I am not getting a direct answer from you.... And the statement "God did showed himself to us? Perhaps to you... But I have not seen him yet... Maybe he only likes you and not me... =(

Too bad then... I'm going to hell.... =(

Hope Lucifer renovated Hell with Air Con... And 24/7 house wine on the house.... *sigh* =P

  • @zTx1001 A more direct answer could be: Everything in the universe has two poles. This is what science is based on. It's a law.

The only way to experience what's high, pure, immaculate is....to go through darkness, doubt, delusion...it's the only way, if you observe the world

By "God showing himself to us" I meant Jesus coming to the world and changing everything. This is a fact. Otherwise we wouldn't be talking about him, and worrying about religion taking over the rational people? It washim

  • Why do you seem so childish? But, Mommy, you gave Timmy a donut, but not me?!!!! WAWAWAWA. Stop being so childish and realize that YOU ARE NOT SAUL/PAUL! Teachers don't treat all their students the same. Parents don't treat all their kids the same. Why should God? God treats everyone fairly, not equally. Imagine every criminal case was treated equally? Every murder had the same conviction regardless of the INDIVIDUAL. What a great justice system that would be.

  • God knows the heart of a person and Paul ignorantly persecuted Christians. However he had a heart of love for God but misplaced. When Christ showed himself to him he accepted it. He could have rejected it and went on with his life.God does reveal himself in his word and if it was followed completly he would baptize you in fire and the holy spirit as well. Many Christians don't follow his word and fall back into sin and even disbelief.

  • @cshook123 that isn't an aswer the either question. it also makes me think that you didn't even watch or understand the video. the point is that he shows some people and not others and your response is that he saw pauls heart?

i'm a nice guy and i am perfectly willing to believe, so why wouldn't he show me? seems like he isn't all-loving because he's picking favorites.

"God does reveal himself in his word"

    so does allah.

    "if it was followed completly"

so we have to believe to get proof? wtf

  • @atheistnarutofan Yes I watched the video. I don't believe in allah or the Quran because it is opposite of what the Bible says. God is not picking favorites. God would have it that none should perish. When Jesus was cruxified on the cross the veil to the Holy of Holies was split in two. Signifying that we may now enter into Gods presence. Those that accept Christ as their savior can come into Gods presence. Yes you have to believe that Christ is your savior to be given the Holy Spirit.

  • @cshook123 "I don't believe in allah or the Quran because it is opposite of what the Bible says." so, wait, why would that matter? that says nothing about my point.

"God would have it that none should perish."

what a strange, all-powerful being that somehow can't come up with a better plan and can't make his will be done.

"Those that accept Christ as their savior can come into Gods presence."

    tried that, doesn't work.

  • I heard you say that you were a christian at one time in your life . Why would you believe in jesus if this is how you feel. I mean these are questions people have before they become christians not after. Read bible prophecy and also when the tribulation comes i want to see you on youtube saying that god isn't real..NOT LIKELY i feel bad for you to because you are a sheep that has lost his way and needs prayer.

  • The reason why Christ does not intervene directly for everyone is: 1. because Christ is not The Most High. He is a physical person and subject to certain physical limitations (i.e. not omnipotent). 2. Because it is not the will of YHWH that everyone be "saved". As difficult as it is for "Christians" to comprehend and accept these facts, they are true. You just need to read Christ's own words to learn this. Christ's reign is "not of this world". He also is not. Understanding this is KEY.

  • You seem to think that God is bright lights and smoke and white doves flying out of his sleeves... God does not move. You have to come to him. Paul had scales on his eyes and was blinded when he saw the light. A voice, disembodied to him, told him where to go. Paul did as he was told on faith and through that he was able to meet Jesus. You can't make God come to you. You have to go to Him.

  • @jtclark17 Yeah, that doesn't fly. 'I think natures pretty so there must be a god' is hardly evidence.

  • I already answered this question in your previous video (#7). Refer to that video for the answer.

  • Wow great Video!!

Have you seen this one?? watch?v=dNFBF1QBLBg

  • As far as the bonus question goes.... what these Christians are referring to is "faith."

Without faith you can not please God. Now Paul had faith also because of His experience...but in NO way should anyone claim that God took away Paul's "free will." Without choice you can't love God (agree with Him). You can't obey of your own choice - so God chastising you becomes meaningless. Also, "How can you be judged or responsible if you don't have choice?" Understanding volition/choice is imparitive.

  • ANSWER: It is not fair. There is no equal opportunity in this universe.

Already discussed on question # 7.

BONUS: Free will and salvation are actually two different subjects. Any Christian who claims Christians don't make choices are failing to understand the difference between choices made as a result of being saved...and the single choice of salvation itself. All choices lead to either GRACE or judgement (which is unfathomable for you personally). To rewards or to punishment.

  • I've noticed that no new books have been added to the Bible. And in the age of video cameras, new miracles are not happening, being recorded, and shown to me. Maybe God (remember the God's Failures video?) wandered off, started a new world, and allows us to function without His intervention or even His concern for whether we believe. I know, parsimony, it's easier/ more sense to believe there is no God.

  • I see your point, i to have had a direct intervention from God in my life on two ocassions, once with phusical protection while walking through the woods at 4 yrs old to get to the candy store and two men popped up and if it wasnt for God physically stopping them for me i may not be here now. the other was when i was about 11 and God once again intervened inmy life and told me that i should draw clsoer to him by reading the Bible. I am a christian because God came to me 1st. i dont know why???

  • @42cody1 i although had to have free choice to respond or not to respond. i believe pauls conversion to be real because when Godcomes to you personally then that is personal evidence and then we have to make a choice.

  • Paul was a zealot for God, but was brainwashed by his RELIGION-religion promotes self-righteousness which is turn, hates others.. Jesus was cast out of this religion. But as before stated, God judges by the heart and gave him mercy. Bonus question: NO, He did not take his freewill, Paul changed his will-willingly-once he knew the truth. I am a Christian Mystic and was born a mystic-Jesus appeared to me and revealed Himself- and when I asked Him "Why me?"-He said, ...Because God knows your heart.

  • Why do you call yourself an athiest, yet you only attack Christains with your so called "logic?" Do you ever do a video attempting to convince Hindus that their beliefs are false? What about Shintos? Do you ever try to convince them that Mt Fuji is just a huge chunk of basalt and not a Kami? I don't think you are an athiest at all, you are just an anti Christain.

  • i missed the bonus ques. before......the answer Yes...another thing evangelical christianity likes to toy with is ....god can never go against mans will....such a load of crap....all throughout scripture god has fought and gone against mans will or interjected himself in the life of man in some way....ie blinding paul and telling him not to persecute christians because by doing so you are persecuting christ

  • same answer as before ...cause he doesn't have to

  • @lunabirdie.. cause he doesn't have to is not a good enough answer for me because we are EXPECTED to belive & live our lives under the fear of eternal hell if we dont belive `How can an all powerful being creator of the world get it all so wrong and make it all so complicated for us to work out. If he took 5 min to show the entire world himself in the way of some kind of miricle sumthin that cannot b explained away by coinsidence or science then we wud all belive not just a small percentage

  • @will25iam .... you are in dire need of a covenant study too....as well as the maker of this video...for one thing, there is no fear of hell for you(you're redeemed by christ regardless of what you Believe)(evangelical christianity has a problem with this as well) ...the hell spoken in scripture for or directed @ humans is a different word than sheol, the place made for the devil and his angels, the only Hell Anyone will ever experience is This Life and the troubles that go along with it....

  • It's obvious that God no longer needs to give these "extraordinary revelations" to anyone else. God chose Paul to write the 13 Epistles found in the Bible. God does not reveal "new things" to anyone. For us, he only enlightens us of what is already found in his word. Why did God choose Paul over anyone else in history? Its obvious that he had a purpose in doing so.

  • First Question..I don't know he hasn't told me yet and #2 No, Paul still could have chosen the same way as the other Pharisees (Paul was one) did when Jesus showed his miracles. Besides, Paul merely saw a "vision from Heaven" Acts 26:19 Many have seen visions but not all believe. most won't. Luke 16:29-31 Jesus came back from the dead and still you don't believe

  • You don't go to heaven for believing things that appeal to reason. There is no merit in believing the Pythagorean Therm. If you want to go to heaven you have to believe in crazy stuff like fairies/angels/demons, magic potions/blood of the lamb, heaven and hell, and talking animals.

If you bend your mind that far don't expect it to be of much use for anything else.

  • Why do you silly little people continue to ask questions you really don't want the answer's to? You never accept any explanation given anyway - because you really don't want to know. However, I will give you one answer to all of your questions. The Gospel is NOT for you. It is for those who believe. You don't believe, so you are dismissed and you may go now.

  • ummmmm no he didnt. he offered him a chance to use it for good. now u may ask well why doesnt he do the same for me? the answer is because he already did it to paul. that should be enough for us. but humans need signs. so the only sing is the sign of jonah :)

  • @soldier9718 God also supposedly gave a sign to Mohammed -- why isn't that enough for you to become Muslim? God also supposedly gave a sign to Joseph Smith -- why isn't that enough for you to become Mormon?

Stories about things that supposedly happened to someone else are not very convincing.

  • @azsuperman01 haha i love the way you argue. ok but look at it this way... what is that sign? the sign to mohammad was an 'angel' that choked him... doesnt sound like god to me. joseph smith's book was deciphered and found false. thats why it isnt sign enough

  • @azsuperman01 The Bible says that Satan can disguise himself as an angel or being of light (which isn't too hard because he once was an angel). So who is to say that what Muhammad and Joseph saw wasn't Satan...which eventually grew over time into these God-contradicting religions.

  • @azsuperman01 I dont know where u get ur questions but y do u have a torn heart for God?y do u question His will?Maybe God is testing our faith? The wind blows where it may and we cant see it,but we feel it. a building,u did not see anyone build it,but u knew someone did.U take the Bible out of context. The New testament is what our change is.Jesus Christ's coming and death changed everything. And His coming in the future as He has promised us.

  • @azsuperman01 we r suppose to believe.its faith.Believe in Jesus Christ.U seem to convince urself more about how these stories could not possibly be real rather than looking at whats happening now.Revelation.The new Testament.Thats where we are.The new order, about the Son of God coming to finish His Fathers work.Question all u want,bc as much as He wants u to believe in Him,it all comes down to a choice. If u want ur answers,go to way of the master.believe what u will but its the truth.God Bless

  • "Did God take away Paul's freewill when He revealed Himself?" People are not saved against their will. It is by faith we are saved and it is only after God makes us able to hear His call that we can hear and have faith and be saved. So, no, he still had free will, but once he saw the glory of God he didn't want to not believe.

  • @chrisalsup19 Believe isn't a choice, it's a result. Once he saw the glory of God, he believed because he had evidence to support the belief. You skipped the first half of the question -- why isn't the same degree of evidence given to everyone? Why doesn't everyone get to see the glory of God in person?

  • @azsuperman01 Believe: to accept as true, genuine, or real(webster dictionary). Acceptance is a choice, sorry but you are doing just what you condemned in a previous video, redefining a word falsely to try and support your argument.

  • @chrisalsup19 You left out parts of the definition, mainly: "to accept the word or evidence of" (Websters Dictionary)

If you have enough evidence, THEN you will accept a claim as true, not before. You don't "choose" to accept something without being convinced of first.

If you think disagree, I challenge you to "chose" to believe you'll "fall" into the sky and shoot off into space if you step outside. If you TRULY believe it, you should be terrified next time you step out the door.

  • Well now this is a great question, I am enjoying this. Paul was a devout Pharisee, now they have a bad rap but not all were terrible. However Paul (Saul) was one of those zealous teachers. We don’t know why God gave this to Paul in this way, but what we do believe is that each person is given evidence in order to turn and repent, the more you know the greater the accountability. So we are now into philosophy.

  • Does God withhold such events in some peoples lives as He knows they still would not repent and thus be held even more accountable and facing a severer judgement? I don’t know. This is a good question. However I do believe that there is enough evidence to show it to be true, it is us who chose to not believe. Each has the opportunity to know and respond without excuse

  • @chrisalsup19 dude...try not to quote-mine next time...ESPECIALLY with such an easily verifiable work...

  • @azsuperman01 Is that y you say all these things?Ur waiting arent u.U have questions a lot of athiest and other people have.y cant we see Him?Well,Blessed are those who have believed, but havnt seen.Maybe u might wake up one day.maybe ur choosen to be a tribulation saint by God. let me ask u something,in all ur questioning, have u ever asked ur self if u were wrong?God has laws.period if we like it or not.earth has laws whether we like it or not.would u break the laws here and risk going to jail?

  • and paul haha

  • @jiljiljip Your mind gives you the impression he does but he neither interacts cares or loves you as he doesnt exist. I have a father,my dad, and yes i have shared many meals with him. I know HE exists because he talks with me as we share a meal. God has been, well lets just say he has never finished his plate and he definately never will. Give up the delusion NOW!!

  • I cant believe how many people talk FOR god as if they know what he wants, thinks or does. I find it embarrasing to say the least that so many "simple" people believe in this whole religious story based on myths from our evolutionary past. Grow up "children of god".

  • WOW SUPER QUESTION JAJAJA OOOO NOW YOU HAVE DESTROY THE CRISTIANITY WOOO AJAJAJ

  • Good on you for addressing the free will argument. Thomas and Paul lay waste to God's divine invisibility.

  • God chose Paul and Thomas because He recognized them as tools for the spreading of the Word of God. If you read the letters written by Paul you will understand how Paul regards himself as a follower of Christ. This was part of God's plan for the both of them. Perhaps God has intervened in your life, but it went unnoticed...?? Paul did not lose his free will. He chose to listen to the voice speaking to him. We are all a part of the body of Christ, or the church, we all play different parts.

  • No God did not take aways his free will. Like I said before, he was a chosen vessel, but he still had the choice to say no. The Pharisees denied Christ even after seeing the miracles that He did.

  • God gave them that experience because it was the beginning of the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ and he needed them to be the ones to turn people to the faith. If He had not given Saul that experience(his name was changed to Paul later) then there would be no apostle to the Gentiles, and we would probably not have the chance of salvation. God told Ananias that Saul was a chosen vessel. we are not chosen vessels, God says now "whosoever will" meaning anyone.

  • I answer both questions, God has elected certain people for his ministry in our mother's womb. The bible states those that have been elected for his will, will awaken. I myself am one of them. I know my purpose in life. So do speak a new age Paul, because he has also revealed himself to me,no lie. So Paul was elected before he was even born as I was. Next. Jesus is Lord.

  • @smt505 so what created God? if you say, "well, God just always existed," then why can't we hypothesize that our universe (or another universe that spawned this one) always existed?

  • Paul already believed in God.

  • God revealed himself to Paul because he needed someone to preach the gospel in a completly radical way.Same as thomas, also it had to happen then so that the gospel could get out and be preached. Thats whats so facinating about christinaity, no other religion had its origins in public where people could refute it and where men could know for sure if it was true or false. Paul was jewish, he already belived in God so no he did not take away his free will.

  • 1 Corinthians 2:6

    Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature; a wisdom, however, not of this age nor of the rulers of this age, who are passing away;

  • Question 1

Because God has no desire to save everyone.

    Question 2

    Free will does not exist.

  • @fivepointbaptist

    Reworded answer:

Q1 - Because God created most of humanity so he can watch them being tortured for eternity. He had no intention of saving them.

Q2 - You are a robot, following a program written by God.

  • now isnt god a bastard =o

  • sounds like an extreme case of favoritism. why would he care enough to save paul and thomas but not have that same caring or compassion for any one of millions of atheists or agnostics nowadays? makes no sense, especially when you consider maybe over a BILLION nowadays.

  • I think that you should look at the affects of God's intervention in Paul's case. Paul basically wrote almost all of the New Testament. Since God knows everything, he would have known that Paul would have a huge impact on the founding of the Church and so he intervened.

  • It was part of the Plan of God that Saul would be a persecutor of the church and be transformed on the Road to Damascus and become Paul the Apostle.

Read the New Testament and get to know Paul ( especially 1 and 2 Corinthians). If God can transform Paul, he can and does transform still.

  • @mrzwetzel: This is circular logic. Paul had an effect because God intervened, but God had to intervene in order for Paul to have an effect.

  • @mrzwetzel

Are you saying God won't intervene unless he determines that the person will have a significant enough effect.... if you're not going to write a good portion of the Bible afterward, you're not worth God's time.

  • All too Easy!!! These should be called Easy questions for little kids or "My First Sunday School"!!!

Paul thought he was doing God a favor ,until he met Jesus.

A study of Luke 16:19-31 shows that Abraham tells the Rich man that his brothers had Moses and the Prophets which is the Torah and that they should read that.

There was no Book of the New Testament written yet until Paul and along with other Apostles wrote what we have now.

You have a Book you can go to The Testimony of Jesus Christ.

    Read

  • Bonus (LOL) No Paul was a student of the Torah who was waiting for a Messiah. When Saul was knocked down Jesus was giving him an opportunity to come to Him.

Saul was corrected and Repented and waited on Ananias to lay hands on him and he was baptized.

You choose another great story to show the Love and Mercy of God!!!

Are you just telling us your an Atheist and are you just testing us?

If you look at all of the answers with an open mind and with seeking of truth you will get proof of God!!!

  • i think he didnt... he showed paul a vision... paul saw Jesus and believed and acted on His faith walking like a billion miles

  • its because that was 2000 years ago

  • Paul lived before christ too... under the name Saul. A Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee, a Hebrew of Hebrews, thoroughly trained in the law of our fathers and was just as zealous for God as any other, persecuting the followers of this Way to their death, arresting both men and women and throwing them into prison, as also the high priest and all the Council could testify. He even got letters from them to their brothers in Damascus, and brought these people as prisoners to Jerusalem to be punished

  • People who say that God revealing Himself would take away your free will are giving a non biblical straw man answer. God revealed Himself to Paul because Paul's purpose was important to spreading His message. God choses everyone who is saved, not the other way around. If God revealed Himself to the entire world right now and opened the gates of heaven, most people would reject and hate Him. Only the ones God chooses to draw unto Himself are saved. God will manifest Himself to those he choses.

  • Again so blinded - Do the research...

Freewill has been given to us all. And you have chosen to use it and put ridiculous statements that really you need more guidance and research.

  • I do not know of any one single Christian that God has not revealed Himself to in the person of Jesus Christ. Not one. Maybe seen maybe not, but revealed none the less.

  • AZ, this is actually your first very good question. I will direct you towards the doctrine of election and the ongoing debate btw calvinism and arminianism.

You're def not the first person to ask that question....so instead of posting it on youtube....lol...do some research...

But then again...it doesn't seem you're really interested in answers.

  • BLESSED are those who HAVE NOT SEEN AND BELIEVED.

  • "Why do some get direct evidence?" ; I dont know but it was given to me. My evidence came in the form of the possession of the Holy Spirit. NO, I can not prove it to you, if I could then why would man exist in his earthly state. As for Paul, obviously no need for free will there: Stupid question.

  • @smitterxnn what was this possesion like? describe it in precise, physical, scientific detail. how long did it last. what did it feel like? what attributes did it modify in your persona? did you take on the characteristics of it? were you capable of sin thought word or deed at any time during its duration? p.m. if you dont want to go back and forth here.

  • me, who gives a decent comment on the video is a 5-year old? then how old are you? you who just comment on the COMMENT and not on the VIDEO that you are supposed to comment to eh? seriously, you need to go to school sometimes.

  • If you really want God to show proof as He did to Paul, you should start killing Christians now. And when your body count amounts to millions, maybe God will see you as a major threat and show evidence to you like He did Paul.

For the bonus question, NO. God didn't take Paul's freewill.

  • Do you want God to personally give you evidence so that you will believe Him like he did to Thomas and Paul? Well, you need to be like either Thomas or Paul's situtaion. They are both skeptics like you BUT int Thomas' case he is an apostle of Christ. And Paul is the most bad ass antiChrist of his time. Even would go as far as hunting down anyone and anything that smells christian. You cannot possibly be like Thomas, your only option is to be like Paul.

  • Paul's conversion was for a very specific reason- namely writing much of the New Testament so that we might all believe. And you're forgetting what Jesus told Thomas. He said "Blessed are those who believe who have not seen". And of course Thomas was a contemporary of the Resurrected Christ! Jesus came to earth at a determined time in history, and He will not come again until His Second Coming.

  • I have heard that God is almighty. So...I'd like to understand: is he also capable of creating something that he then can't destroy?

  • Well of coarse kids will questions those because of 2 reasons. One is simple, the parent either gets caught or someone comes out and tells them. The second one is that the child knows that if they don't believe, its OK. If you say you don't believe or even question Christ, then your going to hell. It's all fear.

  • "Jesus Christ is still actively revealing Himself even today to those who are truly seeking Him." WOW!!! Another big game. If you look for me I'll let you find me. If not then fuck you. Yes even you who are completely unaware of my existance because you were unfortunate enough to have been born outside of the walls of my devine word and those who could teach you. Oh well... tough shit you little fuckers. Better luck next time. Oh yea there is no next time.

  • This is because the same degree of proof is not necessary for everyone to believe! If we were all the same: zealous, devout Jews from birth living in that time period, persecuting the church, then it might have been necessary.

We're all people with varying degrees of faith or scepticism, depending on how you look at it. Some require less than a slap in the face, some will never be convinced even if God appeared to them, others believe almost without effort.

  • You mean some folks are complete idiots and would believe anything without any proof.

  • Likewise, there are complete idiots who will not believe regardless of the proof shown them. Impossibly firm even to the point of absurdity? If we are on this extreme I don't believe we could learn anything at all. I think where the line is drawn is what makes a man wise, don't you agree?

You cannot see God if you believe His existence impossible, yet people ask God to reveal Himself to them when this is their mindset.

1+1=2. Did we disagree with this when we learned it? Are we fools?

  • Lets get our facts straight, if there was objective proof for your god then we would not be having this little discussion. There is fact for evolution - so much so that one has to really be 'blind' and or brainwashed to deny it. Ask your buddy Paul why the story alone was not factual enough to turn to god.....

  • 1+1+1=1 This is the trinity. Now please explain to all of us this utter BS.

  • P.s.- Paul never said that he didnt believe the stories, writings, or rumors about Christ or the christians. Its because they knew the miracles and events were true that they saw it as a threat to their religious establishment, pride, and pocket. Thats why Paul went after them. You are stating false lies about something you know nothing about.

  • So by that logic - you never saying that you don't believe in atheism means you're an atheist right? Your statement is utter fail. What you are saying is "Paul new these Christians were telling the truth about God and even then he showed what type of person he really was by having Stephen killed - yet God choose him regardless". Yeah right stupid.

  • Paul was a well educated man bent on destroyin the christians. So, how could a man,blood-thirsty for christians, be so gullable to FALL for such a lie?BECAUSE ITS TRUE! But why show Himself to Paul/Thomas? God's whole counsel (the Bible)had not been completed. Early xtians were just learnin about their faith N the meaning to Christ resurrection. So, it was necessary for God to reveal Himself in different ways as proof. Once the Bible was complete, there was no need for outside revelation/signs.

  • There are many well educated people that fall for this bullshit. Many being that they've heard nothing different from birth. It's proven that if you tell a child something at a young age and repeat it, they will grow up and 95% of the time never question, like a sheep. Basically it's brain washing

  • Though I do not agree with the slaughtering, Paul was very right about Christianity being a dangerous superstition. The world has many issues over such bullshit. Christianity or religion for that matter are at the bottom of the dirt and is actually very scary . Not because of hell, haha, but because it shows how little people really know and how gullible we really are

  • okay first i will try the bonus question. Well i dont know what christian told you that, but moses was face to face with god on mount zion and still had freewill, he just was inspired to do the right thing like im sure paul was. and for the regular question i answered this question with the number 7 question its the same question just with an addition

  • quick question to any Christian who reads this comment:

The appearance of Jesus to Paul was only witnessed by Paul. How do we know that Paul wasn't just suffering a hallucination? Also, how do we know that he hadn't made up the appearance to convince the masses that he was now trustworthy, so that he could use the budding religion for monetary gain?

  • Because in the end of his Journey he was Crucified upside down, and he was blinded for a certain amount of time and had to go get prayer by a certain person to see again, and plus he gained nothing really if you look at scripture, He Gained heave which is AMAZING and He Also Gained the chance to walk with Christ and write 3/4 of the new testament

  • How do you know he didn't try to back out before getting crucified? Who's to say he actually DID go blind in the first place? Also, how do you know he gained nothing? Just because the religion HE founded says he gained nothing doesn't mean he actually gained nothing. Especially if HE wrote the part about his life.

  • AF..

I just commented on thsi. U take every word as fact, yet there's good reason to suspect it all.

If we can find one error in scripture then none of it can go unchallenged. And there R many errors. If we can't tell where all the errors are...what then?

  • chin..

There are scholars today who are taking a much harder & deeper look into the entire bible.

There are many serious concerns especially about the NT books. We have no idea who wrote the 4 canonical books M,M,L, & J.

They are finding some discrepancies, etc. So the my question or comment is that very possibly, much of the stories were completely fabricated. People may not like that but its a real possibility & if U study the early church, we see why.
