  • ONE word to this "Brilliant"

  • Great cover of TS's song. Really great job!

  • Wow, you are amazing - do you play proffessionally? Seriously, whenever I click on covers, they are usually mediocre. I actually like your version as much as the lovely Cara Dillon's. Do you have a CD?

  • (5th try) Thank you very much. No, no CD yet (work in progress), I'm more what you'd call a dedicated amateur. You can sign up for my mailing list at my website.

  • @lupetland CD is out. billMorrisMusic dawt nett. There's a link on the homepage.

  • @billthetailor funny I just decided to look this song up again (I have a different username now, but I'm lupetland). Great to here you have an album out, I'll definitely be ordering a copy :)

  • Thanks for posting this.

One of my favorite songs ever.

    Your voice is amazing.

  • Very good :)

  • First off: Awesome voice! i loved it, please do update if you have a CD released. As to the video though, a little hard to hear *with volume turned up* but it appears the filmer was a little ways away. A few wrong words *Note i am not familiar with the tommy sands version.. So they may actually be correct, im basing off the masterless men and the woods tea company versions. but over all awesome job keep up the good work!

  • Thank you. I wouldn't surprise me that some of the lyrics are incorrect - I learned the song from another performer, and have never heard any other version.

As to the video camera, it was nearly fifty feet away. They were going to connect it through the sound board but ran out of "outs."

  • Tommy Sands originally wrote the song. His BilltheTailors lyrics seem to be from Tommy Sands version, but Cara Dillon and the Woods Tea Company all had different lyrics.

All in all, a very nice cover.

  • @leady55 Cd is out. There's a link on the homepage at billMorrisMusic dawt nett.

  • Again, well done. I detect a James Taylor influence?

  • Indeed you do. Listened to a lot of JT while I was learning. It was the discovery of DADGAD tuning that really opened things up for me.

  • great voice!

  • Thank you. Hoping to get a CD released within the next year or so.
