  • wow! I'm so glad I watched ur video. I work at a Family Christian Store and World Vision has partnered with our stores to send us kids packets that we can present to our customers to get them sponsored. it's hard sometimes when you are having a bad day to ask EVERY single customer but after seeing this it's really helped me to see what exactly the heart of World Vision is all about. so thank you. :D

  • hungry lion lol

  • 3:25 canadian accent

  • @princessmononoke99 How so?

  • just noticed you blink a lot with your left eye when you explain things...i cant stop looking at it D:...well its a pretty eye :3

  • this didnt come in my sub box :(

  • @thealuminumfoiled That's because it's one year old, I've just realised this as well...

  • Just wondering but... How can you get one of those jackets or shirts? I really want one.

  • Your Canadianess is adorable! Sore-y. Haha.

  • i like the fact that this video isn't a comedy, or a drama; it's just honest and humble.

and i wish more people in the u.s. could have attitudes like yours.

  • you should be an actor you look like one

  • 'they stick with ya, much like the moral of the lion king.'

now that is a one-liner, tom you legeeeend! :)

  • i sponsered a mexican kid from TJ how about that? i just give him five bucks everytime he cleans and juggles for money. but hey it works

  • Reallu i tought ate the people...... XD aid the people LOL!

  • Kudos to you guys for all the great work you are doing. :)

  • You looked absolutely great in that skirt. :)

  • Whoa... this sounds so cool!!! Way to make a difference! :)

  • You are so cute. You look like my good friend Füsun.

  • you are SO AWESOME!! 8DD

just thought id let you know ;]

  • @omaior20 SHUT UP. Even a video as high minded and admirable as this has to have stupid comments like that huh.

  • I participated in the World Vision 30 hour famine. All we had was juice and we even slept in cardboard boxes outside. It was a great experience.

  • the chief chills upon his throne of a thousand cushions

  • world vison 30 hour famine!!!!:)

  • Hey, just wanted you to know that thanks to yours and the boys video I've just started sponsoring a child through world vision called Priti :) thankyou for everything, hopefully I'lll make my own video about it soon :) x

  • Simba chips actually existed long before the Disney Lion King movie, I also remember their trademark: "king of snacks" from over twenty years ago.

  • ur fucking hot

  • your so prettyyy!

  • u guys are good people , thank you for sharing!

  • you are fantastic

  • went to near mpika last year on a trip LOVED it, our 'quite a trip' wasnt quite so successfull as we ran out of snacks, and the bus decided to start smoking, but still the BEST experience of my life ever!

  • so how are they going to deal with unlimited breeding? how do they suggest these communities become selfsustaining at the same rate they are growing? there problems arent water, food etc, but culture and attitude...

People have succesfully lived in Africa and dealt with its hardships for the length of human existance, the problems they have now are caused by artificial sustainance of their inflated population... hate me if you want, im just a realist that has lived there....

  • @nintendoalexwii Well that's acutalyl a false accusation as the leading gender watching this is female. How do I know this? Simple click the arrow on the view count and view the audience it give you this statistic: This video is most popular with: Female 13-17, Female 18-24, Male 13-17. Really it's about 25% of male.

  • @Howardsternsringtoss without words O_o sorry xD

  • too many question sounding ending of sentences.. mm back to alex day.

  • Fantastic work by World Vision!

  • 2:36 LMFAO. that lady's eyes O_O 'omg white people' lolllllllllllll

  • seeing your little icon caught my attention because you look like taylor swift so i clicked on you and just wanted to comment you :)

  • the most ppl dont care about worldvision but i do

  • who thinks african people are lazy? i've never heared anyone say that, their ability to lead/organise thmselves is their biggest flaw (from what i can tell).

in this video their efforts are being focussed by a western organisation.

  • Lolz ur too pretty Africa iz not safe for you ..

    Seriouslyy.

  • i think some stupid people here don't understand what the man meant

when he was saying " In ten years I think we will be like you".

I feel sorry for those retarded people.

  • "in ten years I think we will be like you" -- not gonna happen

  • @ezox00 thats mean.... have faith

  • @ezox00 soo true maybe 50 years id think so.

  • you could talk complete nonsense and i;d hang on every word

    & your beautiful

  • Say rezource one more time ;-)

  • how awesome wish I could have joined yall there.

  • thats an awesome program! i'd love to be a part of it,! did you have to pay anything to go over there?

  • I want you to know that I paid my undivided attention to the content of this video and that I am, in fact, sponsoring a child as a direct result.

But something else played on my mind: how are your teeth so white?!

  • What an amazing experience!

  • aww i am so happy that places like that are now getting help :D

  • Never heard produce being spoke as "Pro-Duse"

    Awesome lol.

BTW hottest YouTuber by far, congrats. ;)

  • @UKNMajor - must be a N. American thing.

we Americans say PRO-duce if we mean the fruits and veg,

but proDuce if they mean the verb.

  • @darvin1023 Well for me I am from the UK so I say it kinda like "Prod-juice"

From looking at how people from America speak, they tend to bring out letters a lot more than in the UK, examples like Iraq where we say it as "E-raq" and not "Eye-raq" or how we say "Mul-te-player" instead of like I hear so so many times in US game reviews "Mult-eye-player" etc.

    :P

  • mosquito no-nom net XD I totally support you! Good on you, keep it up!

  • NOOO! they baked simba! I really admire what you guys are doing =)

  • trying not to cry now... *sniff sniff*

  • When you said "silent deadly.."

My laptop overheated and died xD

  • I love this. I'm going to help.

  • 37 people missed the like button. or are soulless

  • Thanks for sharing! Both the importance of World Vision and your enthusiasm for it, come shining through in this video. Thank you for making it ^_^

    big eyes and shiny teeth

  • That's so great that you are all doing what you're doing while you're over there. I don't make donations to World Vision, but to Oxfam, so I'm all for what you're doing. How did you get the opportunity to actually go over there to help out? And is World Vision paying you at all or is what you're doing completely voluntary?

  • I'm viewer 30,000

  • God, I love World Vision. <3

  • This video has been done perfectly. You can really see how passionate you've become about the project, as well as showing us what the project has done, and bringing inspiration across to us too.

Also my dad is from Tanzania, East Africa so it's something that is already quite personal and close to my heart and it's amazing to see what an impact World Vision is making.

  • i actually want to sponsor a child when i grow up now, seeing as it makes a huge difference.

    + you're real pretty :)

  • pretty pretty eyes

  • Hey, I really liked this vid because (not to sound like a pessimist) so many well intentioned aid projects just don't know how to do it properly (IMO). The road to hell is paved with good intentions and handouts can be damaging if not done in the right place and way. Its really great to hear that this project you're working on is empowering a community and not making them dependent on others. the whole teach a man to fish thing :P keep it up and the best of luck. btw wez Mpika frm Lusaka? Nrth?

  • You guys are doing an awesome job informing people about how everything works in Zambia.

The Chief guy has an awesome laugh.

    Tom is hilarious.

    Keep it up!

  • I'm so happy that you got to be a part of this and share it with us. It is so amazing and really makes me want to help. More light should be shed on projects like this, and I think the YouTube community is a great way to do it.

  • Ive lived in africa for 7 years of my life. For once i see someone who can see what they really are doing. Great video :)

  • ur pretty :3

  • :D I love this project, it's so inspirational!

  • @patchworkhorse Thank you! We're just happy to show what donors through World Vision are doing for these communities. It's unreal.

  • I can't express how much I love this vlog project! I definitely want to sponsor a child now.

  • @loveisthenewpunk YES!!! I'm so glad to hear that. Sponsorship really changes these peoples' lives. I definitely encourage you to do it!
