was listening to this song the whole way through, Went to replay it but acording to YouTube, It had never started playing at all... Boingo broke YouTube with its epicness.
One of the best anti-collectivist songs of all time! These middle-class socialist brats nowadays oughtta take a lesson from Oingo. Better to be chaotic and free than to be a perfect slave in an internationalist police state.
@IggyHazard I know your comments really old and you've probably forgotten about this, but what the hell, I thought I'd throw my 50 cents in. This song is obviously a send-up of guys like Stalin and Mao. I think it's important to remember though, that S&M weren't "communists". They were fucking fascists, no matter how you sliceit. I think Karl Marx would have been executed in their regimes. Karl's original tenants for communism are actually pretty neat, I'm not communist by the way, just saying.
@MrTrty5 Communist? Fascist? They will all die by the Clenched Fist of True Nationalism.
}:-D
One of the greatest ironies of history is the Russian and Slavic peoples' embrace of communism. Marx and Engels regarded the Russian and Slavic peoples as inferior beings that couldn't survive without an omnipresent state to lord over them.
@MrTrty5 Correct. Democracy tends to become "mobocracy" without some semblance of a constitution to secure individual liberty. Even pirates (of the Caribbean, not Somalia) had their own constitution of rights.
I get enough nutrition by eating rotting biscuts, but my mind has wondered from the flock you see, and the flock has wondered, away from me, now it's my creation, is it real? While living in the perfect system, nasty habits I must condone because we have nothing to fear but fear itself.
Many many many 80s songs referenced dystopian books like 1984, and Brave New World. It was the stress of the atomic bomb and 1984 coming to fruition chronologically, aaaaaand millennial crisis.
The part where he shouts "I had an operation!" keeps scaring the hell out of me, no matter how many times I listen to this! I mean, is something wrong with me, or is Boingo just too elfmantastic for this world?
i wanna know what Danny Elfman thinks of Ron Paul. Does he have Libertarian views still? please answer me Danny.

I love Danny's wacky way of singing. It must've took a toll on his voice as time went on.

@IggyHazard Well, every political system has flaws. Even in Democracy, we're not completely free.

@IggyHazard Perhaps, hundreds of years down the road Socialism might work, but now... I'm not so sure.

@MrTrty5 The only "ism" that works is Nationalism.
