Well, most of Woody's movies are. <3

  • This movie SUCKS.

  • No sleeping tonight with this comedy!

  • i hate his movies only because woody alen act in them, if you are a director direct and hire a freaking actor!!!

  • @daraofp no body is as funny as woody!

  • @daraofp also he didnt directed this film, do a little research

  • @Iratherbeher well i meant his movies in general, the fact is his movies would be better if somebody else acted instead of him...he maybe a good director but he isnt a good actor

  • @Iratherbeher are you fucking stupid? you do a little research he most obviously did direct this film, how you gonna tell someone to do research when you can't even do it yourself you dumb ass ignorant fuck.

  • @hatebreeder1979 look up dude, do some research before proving your the ignorant

  • @tamerswan I just can't figure out how they managed this way back in the day. It's wonderful - def. rec. you everyone to rent it!

  • they don't make funny,crazy-ass movies like this anymore

  • "This? No..." LOL

  • God, I wish they made movie trailers like this nowadays. There's nothing TERRIBLE about trailers today (although some give away far too much of the plot), but I just love the interview format that Allen's old comedy trailers used to take.

  • Thank you for posting KNEX555 just an awesome film every one should see , so funny!!!!

  • I love Woody Allen, what a beautiful person

  • "I can't believe you haven't had sex in 200 years"

"204 if you count my marriage" :D CLASSIC!

    Absolutely adore Woody Allen :)

  • That "Sculptured house" from the movie was just sold (Nov. 11, 2010) for $1.5 million. Address: 855 Visionary Road, Golden, Colorado 80401.

  • this movie is hilarious.

  • your name is not luna is it?

    haha!

  • Haven't seen this one of his yet. Will do as I really like his 70's movies.

  • this movie is hilarious! I love Woody Allen. Him and Diane Keaton make such a great team

  • 1:14 i love when she says "IM LUNA!! LUNA, REMEMBER? LUNA!!" she's so daamn cuuute!! n_n

  • Woody Allen only make shit

  • @Slangebarnet And you only write crap. Go watch Transformers.

  • @Losemyillusions I hate transformers.

  • @Slangebarnet Good for you. But you still only write crap.

  • @Losemyillusions No, not only crap. I write a lot of good stuff too.

  • I dont care what others may think about Woody I love his old films. I always used some of his funny lines when chatting up the girls in my youth and they always worked and made the chicks laugh. The only thing is now I cant watch any of his films with the wife as she will know where I got all my good lines from!!

  • @radicalcucumber LoL that's funny = )

  • @radicalcucumber You too, huh ;-)

  • Woody = Good

  • A December 1973 Theatrical Release

  • old style telegram line

  • Pretty funny stuff, I liked the part where they were showing pictures of famous people and asking him what he knew about them....LOL they show him a photo of President Nixon and he tells them that the service service used to count the silver ware every time Nixon left the White House.

  • My God--a great movie and a great trailer! Trailers today are so boring, give away the plot and offer nothing in the way of salesmanship.

  • This movie still kills me after all these decades...

  • I really love Woody Allen movies...Especially the early ones..His use of music is fabulous in Sleeper...I just love it!!!

In fact in the late 70's I went to a performing arts camp and at the last week of camp all campers had to put on a play of their choice...

I put SLEEPER on as a play and I rememebered I tried to utitlize the New Orleans jazz music as well...

  • Oh and I won the award for most interesting play adaption..

  • Woody Allen said that the reason he used New Orleans jazz for the comic effect. He said that he doesn't like the sound of synthesisers and that they're not suitable for comedy.

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!

  • @LISASLOSTIT This trailer actullty makes me want to see it. I need to buy it.

  • Woody allen got the idea for the movie form HG Wells short story When The Sleeper Wakes

  • Yes, and also inspired by 1984, I am told.

  • lol funny trailer. whatever he's saying contradicts the scenes from the film =))

  • Did you go to film school or something?

  • nope. why do you ask?

  • Lol

"Your name is not Luna is it?"

  • Diane looks completely different now

I laughed when she did that Tarzan impression and swang into a tree

  • Diane looks great even now IMO. She hasn't gotten any plastic surgery and still aged so beautfiully. Kudos to her. She's such a great actress. In comedies and dramas.

  • Yeah.

Do are you a Diane fan as well??

  • Diane is so lovely. <3

    And Woody is just perfect.

  • "your name is not Luna is it?

  • we have to get a divorce... my wife thinks i'm a pervert because i drank our waterbed. lol!

  • "My brain...that's my second favorite organ!" lol great movie!

  • "Damn cheap japanese flying pack!"

  • Comment removed

  • @hooweelewis I laughed so hard at that part, and when he gets all attached to that silver sphere ball drug thing hahah

  • Well here we are, 200-years into the future! Now we must capture the President's nose to avoid cloning!

  • Diane Keaton was soooo cute . Allen should have married her

  • I agree. At the time she definitely would have been my kind of woman. She was so pretty and adorable in this movie.

  • @Knex555 And still looking good today!

  • @weisszil Diane Keaton probably wanted to marry a human

  • Go Woody Allen and his oxymoronic 'description' of the film XD

  • I love this trailer. Diane Keaton looks so pretty in it.

  • excuse me, mr allin? is that ur new movie ur working on?

    this? no...

    genius

  • This trailor was as brilliant as the movie.

  • office or school pressures: the disconcertingly pressured pursuit of logic makes the heart grow fond of this. Probably popular in France at the time.

  • lol that movie was so hilarious

  • I was but a mere lad at a screening of a Disney animated feature, which was preceded

by this trailer. It blew me away, as did the

film, to which I was taken a week later.

No balcony for that one. It was orchestra,

    eighth row. Awesome.
