Actually, who compited in this contest is ANDRE MATOS, Former singer from Angra... He left the band and then joined Shaman.... Now he's on his solo career with LUIS Mariutti... and His brohter Hugo playin the guitars...

There is another comment here telling the history of tupana, wich I still didn't know.....

Angra is always brinnging brazilian stuff to their music... Another example is Carolina IV... there, Andre sinsgs any stuff about Iemanjá, that is something like a godess of sea in candonmble... Candomble is a mix of african mythology and catolicism... The firsts africans who get here in the earlier colony had to make this mix cause their 'religion' was being forbiden by the portuguese crown....

Another curiousity about angra members, is that when andre, ricardo and luis left angra, they created shaman.... after some time andre and luis left shaman, so only confessori stayed as former member...

And after this, ricardo came back to angra... but he still keep on doing his job in shaman... They recently released a live DVD recorded with a orchestra... I'm looking forward to see it!
