  • Great! I am a fresmen fan. Thank You

  • So good! Just think what a golden age that was with the Freshmen and the Hi Los... The balance on these Japanese performances is interesting with Bill Flanigan(?) high up in the mix enabling his tenor voice to come through very strongly. What a find!!

  • I was born with the name of 2 freshmen: Ross Barbour, and Ken Albers.

My name is Ross Albers. This, of coarse has made me become a fan since

the 60's . Sounding like 4 horns, the Four Freshmen are so original and totally unique. Sincerely, Ross Albers.

  • The Freshmen at their very best !

Rare footage, and so well produced by the Japanese. A classic video !

  • The most priceless thing I've ever seen! Thank you so much for posting this!

  • It's just an unbelievable find- I love it-many thanks for posting this-great quality too, especially considering the age of the recording.

    Tony Rivers.

  • I'm glad everybody enjoys the video. It was last February when Greg and Vince (2 modern Freshmen) and I sat down and watched it. We got a kick out of it too. We realized that with the Japanese television, they worked very hard to achieve such high quality. That's why the voices and orchestra were pre-recorded and then lip synced for the video. Notice, with all the camera angles, you can't see a microphone! They made it like a movie, even though it was just for TV!

  • Thank you for posting this wonderful series. Your dedication to the roots of The Four Freshman - your group - is impressive and appreciated.
