Boat propellers should be required to be in an enclosure, manatees are not the only creatures that fall victim to them, dolphins and whales are often harmed by them as well!!!

When I was living in Ft. Myers, I had a house with a canal in the back, i was sitting on the edge of the deck and saw 3 manantees rolling over each other about 10 feet away from me. The only animals I see here in ohio are deer.. so i think a lot people don't understand why they are great, they only see em on tv

While I myself don't think we humans need to save every species because let's be honest, 99.99% of every species ever lived has gone extinct. But when humans are the clear cause why a current species is dying out (like whales) I do think it's our responsibility to prevent that negative influence.

I was actually going to give a more detailed response, but it looks like a few other users have already done that.
Although, I would like to point out that I never said anything about morphing. It always makes me laugh when someone interprets a statement like, "slow evolutionary process" to mean morphing. No, I didn't make 'God'. People like you made 'God' up by using your imagination. 'God' is simply what a human imagines him/her/it to be. There isn't anything special about any so called 'God'. Jeff Hardy is a great athlete & can do some daredevil moves off the top turnbuckle, but he can't fly. Anyway, he's basically an actor because wrestling is just one big soap opera.

Humans can ruin any environment and *no* creature is able to adapt to drastic changes in just a few decades. Evolution takes time, a lot.
Now I agree that animals that can't fit in with any human setting are probably doomed in the long run, however humans running over Manatees with propellor boats is not their fault. This basically active killing can be prevented and should.
