I don't think they even reacted to the IR light. I watched one for a while with a telescope, going rather slow and in a straight line. The second I thought "gotta be a satellite as long as it doesn't do any strange manoeuvers", the little bastid made a right angle turn and sped out of sight. I searched a while for it and just when I thought I had lost it, the object (well, maybe it was another one) came in again from the opposite direction.

I have a similar NV scope. But the gain control does not seem to work on the RCA out so I cant seem to see as many stars as you can. Have you increased the brightness more via software? Mines is black and white and I can see many more stars through the scoop with the gain turned up than with the naked eye but via rca out it only sees the brightest stars. Can you expain a bit more about how your editing this including the blue color?

if is fuzzy the focus is not right you have to turn clockwise to focus to the stars!

the color of the yukon in the TV is black and white (mine is blue coz i edited to see better and distinguish my video from other NV videos)

the light of the TV is definitely too strong for the NV!

You state that you use a Sony HDR-XR500( i have a Sony HDR-XR520),so tell me how do you connect the sony onto the Yukon? What is name of the thing you use and what size step rings?

Secondly,why record the tv screen?You play off the Sony onto the Tv,but what you record the tv with?Another camera?Why not upload the sony file?

2- connect the yukon to the HDTV

3- use the sony camcorder to record the TV screen!

When I was a child, my neighborhood friends and I would play "UFO hunting" which was laying down on in the front yard watching the sky with flashlights, eating, chating..etc Basically hanging out. If you observer the sky long enough, you will see some pretty strange things. We say many spectacular meteors, satellites the norm...however we saw two of those triangle shaped UFOs. The way they moved and the speed and the lack of sound was so very strange.

Probably wont care or believe me but I saw the same thing in Las Vegas on the same day.

It was very high was walking in the desert with my girlfriend. We both saw it and were stunned. My camera couldnt pick it up because it was so high.

When we saw it was not as active as yours but did cover a lot of sky. It seemed to travel along the star constellation that looks like a Y. No blinking lights, no weird shape, just a bright circle.

I honestly think our military has been testing a new plane.
