  • Hahaha. So noobish. This all you can do? Easily laughable, but good for a noob.

  • @youBigLoser Idiot, this was made in 2007 dumbass, show what u got?

  • this is badass to the extreme!!!

  • Haha, I love this. :D

  • *blink blink* :D

  • That was good dude.

  • thats was sick

  • what program do u use cause i use the maya 6.5 and the rendering take forever for me

  • LOVE it!!!!. im am starting out and wanted to know what u used to capture and edit the Maya seances. PLZZZ help me out

  • Ah, beautiful, awesome! It's something about the lights, could have been a bit better, and the castle textures looks a bit intresting, I mean, the roof, the bricks could have been more realistic, but I liked the movements, the flying path, the character animation and the sounds very much, thank You for sharing!

  • Awesome animation, overall the poses and animation is great but some of the little movements are missing and a lot of the animation looks stiff and choppy but overall very nice for a first year animation, did you do all the models and rigging yourself?

  • WOW - AWESOME!!!!!

  • now there is a supermotherboard ASUS P6T7 WS that can hold 24 gb of memory ram and 4 graphic cards is that a good choice or is a waste of money for rendering because i was planing to buy 10 of this motherboards with a lot of memory ram and 4 graphic cards for each is that smart or is the most stupidly thing in the world i would do please i need advice

  • I wish I could help you, but I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to hardware and the technical side of working in 3d. I have no idea about half of the stuff you're talking about! I tend to focus more on the artistic side :)

  • Graphics cards don't really help renders, its processor and RAM power, unless you buy special render cards idk where to get them or what to look for in them but i know they do exist

  • your searching for it on youtube?were your as likely to get comented or cusssed or youtbue cencored at?my advice, follow your heart6,by that i mean what you wanted when you were 16,back when you still did follow your heart,to me,levitation tech seems promising,oh fuck the facade, ufos are realthier bieng manufactured by varios

  • frank

  • .german

  • sooo what's better for rendering clusters being GPU or CPU and how big is the difference in numbers ,i heard about a software caledd KERKYTHEA is that useful for rendering maya ,what i want more is to spent my money in hardware or software being careful in costs please help me with some information

  • my friend i need an advice before invest money but what you recommend me for rendering to build 10 computer with a lot of memory ram and good processor or instead a lot memory ram to buy for each computer a graphic card like nvidia quadro fx 580 , soo i don't know if for rendering i really need a graphic card in each cluster ,but i read that this kind of graphic card is for production or may be you can suggest me something better please could you answer me

  • pretty cool man!

  • Yes! Indeed it could be better, but it's a very good job!!! Please can you tell me how long did it take you to design this animation? I want to start as well designing. In the worst scenario, i may suiside if your answer is : 3-4 months, cause i am a starter xD!!!!

  • It took about 3-4 months. Sorry! But don't worry though, with enough time and effort, I'm sure you could make something even better :)

  • The animation is a little janky in parts, but overall it's pretty damn good. The texturing needed some word. After Effects would have gone a long way as well as someone below stated -- I'm not sure what you can do in Maya in terms of blood, but you could have added effects like that in After Effects. Also, on your next demo reel make sure to put some care in to the sound effects, too. I know this is about the visuals, but the sound was very off-putting.

Good job! Best BCIT animation I've seen.

  • my crit would be is that you'd make a good animator, the movements are good but the rendering and skins needs polish sounds are wonky too

  • after effect and post production can be a good lead to some part... such as snake falling onto building can add some shacking to camera and some part needs some motion blur.. animation just nice good job

  • The animation was totally stunning!!! some things on the models could have been a little bit more detailed, but else, really great 5/5

  • hah, nice animation. looks awesome, although as wolf said the textures could of been better. But other than that it was great, very fluid movements and such. keep up the good work.

  • nicely done :) the movement of the characters was great! you just need to work on the texturing and stuff to make it look even better :D

  • Great animation. You may want to put some more detail into the background. Your demo reel demonstrates many aspects of animation and serves its purpose well.

  • its loock like mainframe ENT 10 years ago :P

the only bat think is you cheat a bit by not making you charter walk ;)

  • Are you serious??? by not making it walk???? hahahahahahaha...... This is absolutely great. He will get far reeally far with a demo reel like this.

  • shorter but better is what every lead and director have tell me and for the walk is a bit importend by the way is a good weight controled animation...

  • Thanks for the backup ibrahx. I personally find story based reels more interesting than just the same old exercises, although mine could've used a lot more editing and polish. And yeah, marcusqc, I wish I had put a walk in there :)

Hopefully I can find the time to put one in my professional reel when I get around to making it :)

  • pretty cool

  • Wooow *__* its so amazing!!

  • DUDE, this stuff is AWESOME!

  • thats ruff with some voicing and more action that could be a very good video

  • Dude that is awesome! I just started a 3d class using 3ds Max a few weeks ago and just finished my first animation. This is a pretty big inspiration! I'm sure that this must have taken foorrreveerrrr. Haha. Amazing job!

  • well animated

  • I loved the detail on when she jumps and stabs the solider with both swords that she goes for the spaces in the armor instead of going right through it. Would have been nice for that last guy too but was still very cool.

  • the flying snakes were funny

  • Please tell me you;re working, right? And where, Mainframe? Nerdcorps? Sothing sweet in LA?

  • Actually yeah! I'm working at Rainmaker entertainment (formerly Mainframe) as an animator. It's pretty sweet! Thanks for the comments.

  • That was amazing. I have maya too and so far I can make a cube(lol)
