Alcohol can make people violent. For some it's medicinal, good for circulation, the heart, and digestion of food. For others it really is a violent poison. I had to disarm more than one drunk in my life who came at me with a weapon. There was a couple who were hit across the street where I live by a D.U.I. person. One woman was killed and the man was seriously injured. ...I know people who don't need alcohol for courage and already have confidence on their own.
