How to Change Blackberry Torch 9800 LCD Screen

it helps alot .. im having a kind of issue with my torch 9810.. the trackpad doesnt move on some menus, but it does fine in others, sometimes doesnt work any button even the trackpad, but i move the phone a bit and it starts working again .. i changed the camera flex and ive got same problem as before... some times even with the phisical keyboard disconnected some " YY " or "JJ" letters are pressed itselfs .. maybe is the screen flex bad working?

Hi, it sounds like the keyboard membrane is faulty and possibly the trackpad, try changing both of them, i hope this helps,

@cellphonezoneLTD hi, hope you can help. i have replaced a 9800 LCD screen but it has not worked. the screen didnt light up at all and replacing it hasnt made a difference. all lights and buttons around the screen work but not the screen itself. its a 002/111 version. im not one to give up! the only thing i can think of is maybe the flex cable is dodgy but its a gamble. any ideas?

so if i do this my lcd is going to crack? my issue is currently i have two big hair line scratches down the centre of my outside screen (if that makes sense) what are my options on fixing this?

Hi, if its your screen that's damaged then you will have no need to remove your LCD, as for your options then you have two, one is to take it to a repair center and two is to buy a new screen and follow our video, now if you do not have a heat gun, you can use a hair dryer, remember to take your time, it's not a race, i really hope this helps, good luck and if you need anything else just ask,

Hi, yes it is and without heat it is more liable you will crack the LCD, maybe you can try to use a hair dryer, that will do the same as my heat gun, i hope this helps,

Hi, so the price is $75.81, now there is a few ways we can send it to you, so it is up to you, the maximum time will be around 2 weeks, and the fastest will be around 4 days, it just depends on where you are, the only other thing it could be is the LCD screen code number, make sure both the screens you have, have the same serial number, on the 9700 there is around 4 different screens and i think it is down to different country, the 9300 has 2 screens, worth a check bro!!!
