    Or you can buy my engine. I'm going to sell that. Is absolutely ok, last inner control 1000 miles back ;) I'm selling parts of my lude, because I'm going to buy car for circuit (lotus exige).

    The price is 2000 Euro only. It's complete engine with complete intake (TBD S2 70mm and special polished S2 intake manifold) with ECU from dyno and and and. The price of new is about 5000 euro :)

  • Your tach is wrong or the weights are screwed in the speedo. At 7680rpm 2nd gear i am at 100, and 3rd i am at 150, doesnt seem right

  • its called gear ratio dick head not all cars do the same speed at the same rpm

  • the heck... the redline seem something wrong with it... wont ur car supose to go faster? i got a h22 too but ur second gear... didnt reach 100km/h and ur 9000rmp... thats weird cuz my h22 reaches 90km/h at 7600 rmp... thats wierd!

  • :D That's good joke. This engine is rebuild by Skunk2, Mahle, Eagle. There's no problem to go over 9500rpm ...

  • @xAssassinzWarx lol man H22 can be faster than a k-series with the H2B setup... Stock H22, especially american ones don't rev high, those jdm one a bit more. But when properly built, they r one of the greatest motor you can put in a Honda...IMO !!!

  • I would like to know what you are doing to protect your engine from spun rod bearings. Please let me know, because I wasn't going to tune mine above 8,000 but If you tell me how to protect it enough for 8,500 I might just bump it up.

  • well the stock tach is usually off by about 300-500rpm. so my guess is he is going to about 8200 rpm? also definitely has some gear work or a b series tranny. no?

  • I'm a little confused about this. If you have spent enough to get 260bhp out of the h22, im guessing youve stripped the car etc. so why are you only running a 13.5? There are 4th gens here in the uk which can run mid 13's on stock h22s (intake/manifold/exhaust) which are stripped out. I mean 13.5 IS fast, I just guessed 260bhp and a shortened drive would be faster?

  • I just went outside, and I'm roughly half a second slower to 0-100kmh than this. It seems like you're shifting too far into your powerband, you're running out of oomph too fast. The 1/4th time seems about right... maybe you were just off in this video *shrug*

  • I'm not calling you out, but your 0-100kmph is taking almost as long as my stock 5th gen. I hit 0-100 in roughly 6.8-7 seconds. I can't imagine this is 260hp... You're hittnig it in the low 6's from what it looks like. From this video it looks more like 220-230hp... but it may just be one of those days (we all have them :P )

  • Don't forget, Prelude is FWD. And have a big problem with traction on start. I have 0-100mph in 12.6s ... And that tell you more about the engine power. Try your car and you will seee a 19s :)

  • good point. seems like h22s pull harder near mid and topend than in the beginning anyways. vtec isnt too great for lowend torque obviously cuz it doesnt engage.

  • you need a larger engine capacity for low-end torque, hence why muscle cars take off quicker

  • i wouldhave thought better traction on the drive wheels, because theres a large chunk of engine pushing them down into the ground, as opposed the the rear wheels not having much weight on them, please explain??

  • When a car accelerates the weight is pushed to the back, thats why the back squats and the front raises regardless of what wheel drive you have. Also the fact that there are unequal length driveshafts on 90% of front wheel drive applications means that the steering goes all over the place reducing traction and launch time no end. Both front wheel and rear wheel drive have disadvantages but from 200bhp and above say, rwd has the edge if it's a well balanced car. :)
