For a perspective outside of Ground Zero on 9/11/2001, please watch: 'Tuesday Morning in September'. It is something from that day that was not released for nearly a decade. It is something from that day, that is not a production, but is an authentic continuous running chronicle of the 911 wtc attacks. You can preview the entire 130 minute account.. on my channel.
For the thousands of eyewitnesses I heard only two people actually seen and heard the planes. For me, if I see or hear a plan I would associate it with a plane crash, not explosion.
People that think they get "inside" people's minds are delusional: inside minds of the dead even delusionaler. But these are the people that get lotsa space on America's airwaves: terrorists would've made a bigger difference in the nation if they'd just kidnapped knucklenuts here instead of crashing planes & killing people.
it is really odd how more people find it to be interesting that matt lauer has hair than people who find it interesting that the news clip was about howard hughes (airplane guy) when this happened
You see all these commercials of stuff America advertises and when it goes back to the show, it's like our world was turned upside down by the magnitude of this horrible act of HATE and violence
I was in NY for 9/11, SON...infact just sent a Christmas card to the Sweeney family...I'm just saying how lame NBC's coverage was that day when Good Morning America interrupted a commercial to go live, and CBS, CNN, and everyone else did better...NBC4's local coverage in NY was good
@jabrooonni They didn't know what else to do.. this is a breaking story, a very BIG one at that. The commercials probably gave them time to scramble around.. get feeds, anchors, write scripts.
@zmoney682 Howard Hughes didn't really change the world of Aviation.. the aircraft he built were ultra-niche products with no ascertainable customers in mind.
It's remarkable, the coincidence of the ad buy placed right at this time on this day on the Today Show, long in advance, and located here at spot 05:10:
I'll never forget turning on my tv that morning. It must have been my 3rd day of high school. First thing on my TV was a screen full of smoke, and then the camera pans out. I could not believe it. Watching this video I can't even believe how much time has gone by because it seems like yesterday.
Thanks for posting this. I was listening to the show on my radio that morning. Blogging about it now and needed to refresh my memory of what I heard. Thanks again.
@LILGmoneyVEVO Actually, I prefer having the commercials in. Why? Because I am watching this clip because I wanted to get a sense of the 'normalness' of things before 9/11 really kicked off. The whole stuff with that biographer and adverts do give that sense. 9/11 did just start off as any other normal day. And must be a weird feeling Richard Hack has knowing his interview was the last event of an era of normality.

Anyone who still doesn't think 9/11 was an inside job simply hasn't seen the evidence yet. Here's a link to some of it.
