  • would a qb78 co2 air rifle be able to kill rabbits its around 10ft-lb

  • @98lm013 Yes 10ft/lb should be OK as most hunters in the UK go for about 11.5ft/lb, just stay inside about 30 yards.

  • Monty Python is glad to see the rabbit go down! :D

  • hello i am just about to start hunting what do u do with the rabbits

  • @Garythepig128 I eat some of them the rest i ether use to feed my cats or use as crow bait.

  • You have a real talent for story telling with video. Good job.

  • Nice video =) how many "fps" does your rifle do? =)

    or if u perfere M/s.

  • What scope do you use mate ?

  • What do you do with your kills? I have a rabbit problem in my yard and I want to start hunting, but I don't want to waste the animals I kill. Any suggestions?

  • @yfzrider13 u can eat em u just got to clean them first

  • @yfzrider13 Eat them mofo x

  • cute kat

  • Is your rifle co2 or pressureized air? Also how many shots do you get per charge, and what it is the velocity f.p.s.Thanks

  • go to hell

  • I wish I lived on that farm, so many pelts running around lol

  • you have a kids voice but manly hands....

  • What gun is that?

  • nice shot at 2:00

  • how many FPS is your pellet gun?

  • Very nice video! Do you need a license to shoot rabbit and how many you allow to shoot?

  • @sharonscw Rabbit in the UK can be shoot all year round so long as you have a good reason for doing so (protection of crops etc) with no bag limits.

  • @HuntersVermin Thanks a lot Hunter!

  • @HuntersVermin what caliber is it?

  • Lovely videos sir, i wish i was there holding the camera for you. There is a lot of heart in your videos.

  • good to see someone leg as rabbit like when i was taught as a kid! I must admit though i was taught to cut the tendon on the leg you thread through to lock them in place properly.

  • im 14 but very keen on hunting i am only allowed a 11 ft-lb airgun and ive bagged a few rabbits around the farm with it i like going up at sunset during spring/summer the get a few for the pot and i will be posting videos on soon so make sure to check them out!

  • @MrHighlandAirsoft Sounds good.

  • @MrHighlandAirsoft

Good on you mate, find a good place near a set setup a hide and get a camera going. Fun times to be had and much vermiun to dispatch :)

  • Hell of some shooting there, awesome video!

  • @Teammohawkoutdoors Thank you.

  • i am needing advice on the air rifle i should get i am looking for one that i can comfortably hunt squirrels rabbits and birds at around 25 yards. my budget is $200 and if a remanufactured air rifle will work that will be fine. i have heard a lot about the gamo big cat 1250 or 1200. also i dont want a c02 or a pcp . thank you for your videos

  • @bays1001 I don't know much about what is on the USA market but a spring powered air rifle with about 12ft/lb of power in .22cal or .177 will kill cleanly out to 35-40 yards with a well placed pellet. Also have a look at the crosman range.

  • @bays1001

If you are US then go to walmart and buy a ruger 10 22 lr for like $150, you can then shoot easily at 100 yards and have semi auto .22 rimfire action. Much cheaper than co2 or pcp. We brits use air rifles out of neccacity, you still have your freedom enjoy it :)

  • how much do you think a reasonably priced airsoft gun would cost? one for hunting would be preffered

  • @Calebmtz19 Airsoft guns are toy guns that shoot plastic balls .If you mean airguns then the edgar brothers model 60 is 11.5 ftlb perfect for hunting mammals and birds it's £95 on their website but I've seen it for less only draw back is that it's break barrel.

  • @Calebmtz19 Air Soft guns are not for hunting, you need an air rifle with about 12ft/lb of energy in ether .22 or .177cal.

  • @Calebmtz19, A .22 is preferred pellet for me. It delivers more energy and has a higher stopping power on the head. Nice clean kill. Thanks for uploading all the videos you do @HuntersVermin Keep up the good work!

  • @devildude194712

Yeah i've always shot .22 but i am attrracted to the increases in muzzle velocity with a .177 over a .22, meaning i can shoot things further away.

I already have a pcp 10 shot .22 aas310 and was thinking of getting a springer as backup, probably a weinrach. If you were me would you get a .177 or a .22 for the weinrach springer?

  • Good Video Good Qaulity, And very good head shots shame for the 1 miss rabbit was too quick, but yes mate well done enjoyed watching this video gotta go myself soon i sold my air rifle gotta buy a new one lol

  • @heathyboi11 Thank you glad you liked the vid.

  • Probibly going to get alot of hate for this but, I have my first air rifle and want to hunt rabbits BUT i want to make sure I get a clean shot, as in quick and painless for the cute furry thing on the other side of the field !

Any tips atall would be handy!

  • how do you do the rabbit squeek?and why do they respond to it?thanks

  • What rifle are you using and where did you get it?

  • @Xbox4lex Its a 30ft/lb .22cal Theoben MFR that is made by Theoben Ltd England.

  • @HuntersVermin Thanks! Awesome video keep em coming! Subbed!

  • @HuntersVermin where did you aim? between the ears and eyes?

  • ur a very good responsible marksman, thats a great vid, thanks. My hubbys been going on about wanting an air rifle since we met, 18 yrs ago. says he used to hunt rabbit when a boy, and up to now ive resisted, but i guess ive just found his perfect xmas pressie for next year, thanks again, keep em comin.

  • Best rabbit hunting video yet! lol plus hes irish like me.

  • @bconvery571 Thank you.

  • Ive only got a kral magnum .22 butshe still seems to do the job and can deliver quick, clean kills almost every time.

  • Great video of rabbit shooting!

  • @TheNellyspania Thank you.

  • did you keep them to eat? and what gun were you using?

  • @bugsy3609 I do eat some and ether use the rest to feed my cats or as crow bait. The air rifle i used is a Theoben MFR pcp powered .22cal 30ft/lb.

  • best rabbit shooting vid iv found so far

it will be hard to beat

  • @TheSharpshooter2011 Thank you.

  • a bit off topic maybe, but please could you tell me where you got your rifle case from.

I have the same case that I bought from redbeck shooting supplies in wakefield, I have never seen anyone else with one before.

  • @pauleybezzer999 I think i bought it on line from Garlands.uk.

  • Headshoots!Nice and clean

  • @gumelini1 Thank you.

  • Good Shootin!!!

  • @ambergassassin Thanks.

  • BUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice shooting

  • How Hard is it to attain a 22lr where your at?

  • @matthew3558 You can get a licence for an air rifle at 16 I think, that's all you need,

  • beautiful shooting, and love your videos. been a long LONG time since i've had anywhere near that many rabbits :( hopefully i'll go soon and find there's loads :)

  • @MrLeechy92 Thanks glad you liked the vid.

  • @HuntersVermin Do you sell rabits?

  • you have cool vids what rifle is that?

  • what rifle you use?

  • @TheMihael7 Its a .22cal 30ft/lb Theoben MFR pcp powered air rifle.

  • well done! and i love the kitteh at the end lol

  • @sleb1882 Thank you.

  • what do you do with the rabbits once you've hunted them?

  • @jimbo666ist I eat some of them the rest i ether use as crow bait or feed to my cats who love them

  • What scope do you use?

  • U scottish?

  • @caveman1799 Close, i am from Northern Ireland.

  • You've got a nice shot on you.

  • @keyzee47 Thanks.

  • my dog usually does the same, I would take her with me but she has so much energy and is too much of a handful when holding a rifle too.

she goes nuts when I come home as she knows I have something for her.

  • @pauleybezzer999 With me as soon as i step out of the van its Me-oow me-oow.

  • it's nice to see you using your home made pellet holder :-) I loved your video on how to make them and ended up making myself several of them.

people have seen me using them and have thought that I paid a lot of money for them and have asked where to buy them. so rather than make more which I would have been more than happy to do, I directed them to your video so that they too could see how to make their own.

great work again mate, and a lovely cat too, I bet it doesn't miss a trick.

  • @pauleybezzer999 Very good and thank you. Yeah my cats will usually be sitting at home waiting for me to come back with a rabbit or two for them.

  • Nice shots - are you in Ireland? Description says you're using an air rifle - I assume it's a .177 shooting at 1,000+ fps? I know you guys are on the metric system... Sounds thought like you are shooting some type of bolt action rifle with a sound suppressor.... I got some pesky rabbits in my neighborhood, but I'd go could potentially go to jail if I misfire. Do you have a scope on that bad boy? Cool video, nice shooting!

  • Nice shooting I have seen your other videos and they are great keep it up

  • @enmunoz2009 Thank you.

  • I think he's Canadian but im not exactly sure...

  • i could shoot a deer, a duck, a bear, pretty much anything, but dont make me shoot a rabbit them things are just........... right before you choot em they look you in the eyes and are like T________________________T i feel bad lol

  • @SoccerBalbus i use a .22 mag and that seems to do the trick. i wouldn't use bird shot for it might hit the dog, but a .22 would work perfect

  • just killed a rabbit with a 410 shotgun my first its gonna be delish and how do you usualy pepare them

  • @Outdoorsman951 Very good, if you go to my channel you'l see two vids on gutting cleaning and cooking rabbit that might help you.

  • @Outdoorsman951 .410 is good? and what number shot? Im a big game hunter and know nothing of small game, or bird hunting. But im going rabbit hunting with a friends and im a little unsure. What caliber gun should i use, and if a shotgun what guage and type of ammo? If we use his dog do i use bird shot, what that be dangerious to hit the dog thats chasing the rabbit? is a .22 a good idea?

  • @SoccerBalbus 410 is very good for close range if u shoot at further ranges and dont shoot near dogs number 8 shot thanks good luck & be safe

  • you must be sick of eating so much rabbits :D

  • @Rakloro My cats eat more rabbit than i do and they never seem to get sick of it.

  • great vid thanks EH.

  • @weldrene Glad you liked it.

  • Is 9ft pounds enough power for rabbit hunting?

  • @XCasper17X 9ft/lb is a bit low in the UK we like to hunt with air rifles of around 11.5ft/lb in ether .22 or .177cal.

  • @HuntersVermin What if 9ft/lb is all i can afford atm? Is it enough to kill a rabbit with?

  • @XCasper17X I think it is with a head shot but you will have to keep your ranges down to 20-25 yards max.

  • anyone help me please?

i want to buy and air rifle, i am new to hunting and i want to buy a cheap but good air rifle to hunt rabbits. can anyone tell me what air rifle or fps i need to be able to hunt rabbit. is a crosman 1077 .177 625 fps max good enough? thanks

  • @RnBxHaMsTeRzZ11

No, you need at least 780fps for hunting rabbit. Get the Crosman Phantom from amazon.com for 78 dollars shipped. It is a 1000 fps rifle, and using a specific ammo, it can be up to 1200 fps.

  • Where did you buy this gun? online? locally?

  • @algauthier5 I bought it at a local fire arms dealer who had to order it in from England for me.

  • @HuntersVermin are you satisfied with it. sorry for alot of questions just thinking about buying one

  • thumbs up if you had to leave this vid cause of the way the guy talks

  • i have a gamo varmint hunter with 1000 fps do you think i could kill a rabbit, racoon or what do you think the biggest animal it will take down is?

    thanks

  • @gamohunter1995 I don't know about racoons but at 1000fps it should have more than enough power for rabbits.

  • do you eat them?

  • @sh9683 I eat some of them the rest i ether use as crow bait or feed to my cats who love them.

  • @HuntersVermin very nice! happy hunting

  • do u think 490fps in .77 good Remington® AirMaster 77 Air Rifle

  • @xcliproductions Sorry no as you need about 780fps in .177cal to get enough power for hunting.

  • what exact gun are you using?

  • @algauthier5 Its a 30ft/lb .22cal Theoben MFR pcp powered air rifle.

  • you said you were shooting with a .22, right? about how long was the longest shot you took, as you estimate?

  • @TheJamesPowell The longest shot i think that i have taken with my 30ft/lb Theoben MFR is 70 yards on a rabbit.

  • could a .177 cal 1000fps-1200fps kill a rabbit

  • @xcliproductions .177 at those speeds would have no trouble with a rabbit, your talking around the 22lb mark and its advised that 10lbs of force for a .177 will kill a rabbit at 30-50 yards. Happy hunting.

  • thanks umm do u think a Crosman Storm .177 Break Barrel Airsoft Rifle with Scope: •Ambidextrous stock •Hardwood stock with soft stain finish •Power source: spring •Break barrel mechanism •Velocity: 1200 ft/s •Uses .177 cal pellets •Single shot only •Includes CenterPoint 4x32mm scope with rings •Ambidextrous manual safety •Weight: 6.02 lbs •Length: 44.5" could kill a rabbit
  • @xcliproductions Yes at 1200fps it should have more than enough power for rabbit sized game.

  • do u think 500fps to 600fps is good

  • @xcliproductions Yes in .22cal as most hunting air rifles in the UK in .22cal are about 570fps (11.5ft/lb).

  • Thanks for making this vid. It has answered a few questions for me. Can't wait to try this myself now. Cheers to ya!

  • How are would a 12-16 ft air rifle shoot plz reply btw awesome vids keep it up

  • you better hunt it running i dont call this hunting this is sneaking hhhhh

  • love it

  • I have a question do you get paid for going out and removing pests and how much do you get paid

  • @teehee1310 well im sure its more of a deal really. At least with me, the farmer lets me use his land to hunt (there are lots of rabbits near his farm) and in return his crops stay safe and i usually offer him some of the rabbit meat

  • well done with all the videos m8t. like to watch them and you seem to no how to hunt. unlike most pepole. Dan

  • is 1000fps good?

  • @trx450rshow Yes thats fine as most people in the UK hunt with airguns with 580fps in .22cal and 780fps in .177.

  • @HuntersVermin in our country we are not allowed a 22.so i think i might get a 177

  • what gun are u using

  • @lollollollollol211 Its a .22cal 30ft/lb Theoben MFR pcp powered air rifle.

  • @HuntersVermin hey man love ur vids, wats the fps on the MFR

  • good vid and nice shooting well done !

  • @trinescape Thank you.

  • Best vid on youtube! will you make one of squirrel hunting?

  • @Popcornroyrocks Thank you and i wish i could but there are very few squirrels where i hunt.

  • Great video chap.

    Nice clean shots.

  • @trevmcc Thanks.

  • What do you store your ammo in on hunts?

    thanks mate

  • @Lorddearoth I use a small rubber holder that i make myself and i have a vid of how to make one on my channel under Wellie Boot Pellet Holder.

  • @noobpowerXD3900 Thanks but please don't swear.

  • awesome accent XD

  • @mkzhero Thanks.

  • What do you do with them when you've finished?

  • @MysteriousVlogger Some i eat and some i use as crow bait the rest i feed to my cats who love them.

  • guys i wanna learn something!is the bsa supersport tactical 4,5 a good airgun to shoot farther than 100 yards?is it a strong airgun?is it accurate?i am 14 years old and i can give up to 275 euros!

  • @TheGreektiger A supersport is only really for about 35-40 yards if you want to push it to over 100 i'd get a rimfire.

  • Hey Guys i´ve got a question :

How many joule needs it to shoot a rabbit or a bird?

And can i get an Air Rifle for hunting under 210$ ?

  • nice shooting m8 im watching all ur vids and u need teach me i pray to u god

  • where u from mate

  • Great vid Do you use a silencer

  • @BaddmuddaXGamingX Yes there is one fitted to my air rifle as pcp air rifles are very loud without one.

  • 2:46 he is clearly talking while shooting. that is a good shot since talking requires air and air means breathing which means movement. and it was still a head shot. your really good.

  • @grizzlylongwintergrn i think he filmed it then did a commentary

  • Did you also eat it? I heard that it's good!

  • @thingman100 Yes i do eat some of them the rest i feed to my cats who love them.

  • I have no idea what you are saying.

  • @AntlersandLpok if you can aim, it can kill anything. Squirrels, rabbits, etc. I own the Storm XT which is pretty similar and trust me, it is a very powerful air gun, by the way I own a weaker bb gun and it can kill a squirrel.

  • Even my grand mother can kill a rabbit at that range XD

  • it's good to see an ethical hunter who takes pride in making sure that all of his shots are clean kills exelent shooting keep it up
