The 4 Freedoms demonstrated FDR's ideological common ground with Josef Stalin's communists. They included "freedom from fear and want"; meaning that if you scare me, government should punish you because you've violated my "right". Similarly, if I want something and you don't give it to me, you should be punished. It shows FDR's fundamental misunderstanding of what rights are. Rights are things you're entirely responsible for; for which you answer to no higher authority...

...OTOH, if others hold power over you for something; then you don't own the right to it. It's provided to you as a privilege. Something you answer to higher authorities for is a privilege; not a right. If you owned the right to it, it'd be entirely your responsibility--including paying for it. Leftists reduce rights to government-distributed privileges via rhetoric which calls privileges "rights". Don't fall for deceitful Leftist rhetoric geared toward stealing your rights from you!

A Leftist constructs a straw man and attacks it to change the subject. What have I said indicating any such belief? Deceitful words can sell any policy, but Leftist rhetoric is completely hallucinogenic. It's Opposite Land; where rights are privileges and privileges are rights. Leftism is founded on fallacious rhetoric. Harry Truman renamed his War Department the "Department of Defense"; classic Leftism.

Democrats employ pretty little words because they think about the effect it has on the public. Republicans use words to trail people down a red herring trail to avoid having to explain themselves. Isnt polarization itself a fallacy?? Anyway it's a defeatist attitude because I can't stand any of the politics in this country.

It's easy to forget that this most honorable man was beginning to suffer the ravages of polio. Hitler, Mussolini, and ToJo's fascist rationale, coupled w/ Stalin's pact of cooperation w/ Hitler, was a cabal of the selfish, aka a blight of polio spread upon the world, or a Kochroach's wetdream. Fascist MoFos were pillaging and plundering the resources of others, just as Bu$hCo. did in Iraq and Afghanistan. Unfortunately Bu$h-Cheney and company, are the war profiteers of which FDR spoke.
