That form of MissingNo. appears also through the Old Man glitch when the character's name has a w in the third, fifth or seventh slot. Mewtwo has a w in both slots 3 and 5, so that might be part of the reason it had that sprite.

i think you get this missingno. sprite if you have a specific letter at the 3rd 6th and 9th letter i think it was Y the same thing u can do with Z and you get a different sprite for missingno.

missingno is the first form of a kangashan but the creators of the game said to delete it from the game but the elemination ocurred bad so it was saved to a glitch they thinked that was no diference on the game but they thinked bad so tha is missingno that is "missing no."its a mising number its creepy isn´t it?

You can turn Missingno into certain sprites depending on which letters you used in certain slots. Try looking for Missingno with a char named "Sexy. (Lol. o.o)" Since there's an "x" in the third letter slot, Missingno will turn Aerodactyl fossil.

-I'm sure that's how it works, correct me if I am wrong, please. :P-

If the 3,5, or 7th letters are y= Kabutops fossil.

If they're z, the sprite used is a Ghost.

The appearance of glitched Pokemon depend on your name, remember that. :)
