The quality of acting is terrible. I'm watching only out of curiosity as it was mentioned in today's Independent's list of movies banned in the UK by the BBFC.

The murder scenes are rather ttamer than I had anticipated but i suppose the movie appeared much worse back in 1992 - the era before Saw et al.

Actually Childs Play 3 isn't banned here in the UK anymore. It was later proven that the two kids hadn't seen it but the media went into overdrive when it was suggested that they might have due the crime's vague similarity to a scene in the film. Plus, I think it's just easier for people (parents in particular) to accept something outside (in this case, a movie) influenced these children and made them do it when really the problem lies within these two clearly disturbed kids!
