Lyle Cooper is hands down the best drummer in the death/tech metal scene at the moment. Yes possibly better then Thomas Hakke. (sp?)

He not only has all the technical prowess in the world, but he has the skill and technique of drummers like tony royster and dennis chambers. He is fluid, and can REALLY groove. That is one thing I rarely see technical death drummers do well is groove. He holds down a superb groove. Check the middle of the song Xenochrist to see what I mean. Just top class
