  • Even in those days with no internet and computer for every home, Surabhi did their extensive research on varied topics and presented them in the purest form...

  • there was an essence in air those days.why people are so restless today?

i was a child that time and seen people were really relaxed when nobody knows what the hell is a mobile phone is. today we have facebook n all but don't have real friends.....am i wrong?

  • alll GOOSEBUMPS :):)

  • I loved DD. I didn't know Hindi but still loved watching this program. DD had such a good list of programs those days.

  • Good one it took me to those old beautiful days in indain television .. these days useless & brainless reality shows with some fools called judge !!! Shit !

  • arre yaar wo din hi kuch aur they

damm mujhe mera bacpan wapas chahiye

  • OMG from where u got this. trust me i got goosebumps head to toe.i was a baby then but still remember renuka sahani, siddharth kaak and heeeeeeaps of letters they wud pick.......

  • i still get the feeling of waking up , the feeling of morning, that fresh feeling, that urgency to get ready for the school bus.....god!.... loved those times.....

  • refreshed my memories.....

  • one of the best and simplest compositions i heard. nostalgic. i'm glad i found it here. such lovely memories...

  • I have been thinking about this program name, and 'surabhi' couldn't come into my mind. I was so sad, that, once the serial which made me happy..i really forgot its name. I just typed renuka shahanae in youtube and i got this. Thanks a lot for uploading this. Was very excited to hear the music again...and it gives my mind a sort of feeling that i cannot explain in words.

  • I am proud to be part of that generation childhood. The morals we had and have and the respect for each other and good programs of doordarshan ....... kaaash wo life dubaaara mil jaaata

  • Surabhi was and is still one of the most culturally educational tv program ever made about Indian. Best Hosts. and what a catchy Music. By the way it is composed by legendary Maestro Violin Virtuoso Dr L Subramanium who posses knowledge of North/ South Indian and western classical......plus a Medical Doctor....guy is genius.....

  • oh listening this music after nearly 13 years!

  • initially I didnt understand wat Surabhi was all about.. coz i was to small... bt when i came to know...it was too late and it stoped appearing on DD... :((((

  • i love surbhi purane din yaad dila diye

  • nostalgia galore, how regal and archetype television was in those days and simple were our minds, every week a new episode unlike today, same shit wrapped different ly every night

  • whoa.... that brought goosebumps !! old is gold. where can i possibly get to see these episodes ?

  • man....tears all the way....today has been the best day of surfing...coz i got 4m 1 video to the other which took me back to all those days of "simple television" rather than todays bullshits on air...DD was n is n will always be the best

  • @subodhbs12 I am from Pakistan and I fully endorse your views......Commercialism and rampant growth of multiple TV channels has destroyed television.Little wonder people in Pakistan and people in India are longing for the days of simple television, quality television(PTV in Pakistan and Doordarshan in India). Those were the days.

  • it takes me to those days

  • Thats was the true journalism. Other channels should learn this

  • Surabhi used to truly compliment India.... the government should scrap all the cable channels and air those good old serials on our very own DD channel !!

  • ulti remind me of childhood

  • this use to be my favourite program. thanks alot love ur work man,tc
