If you like this music, you should track down an HBO special "Cocaine Cowboys". Google it, copies are avaliable for sale. They interview people that actually lived the life this series was made about. Its an excellent watch, I highly recommend it.

@kahlesss I really don't have a good answer as to where the time has gone! Other to say, that this same question was brought up about a month ago, when watching an old Miami Vice episode on DVD. I am just about to turn 41, my other friends who watched are 38, 40 and 37. When the DVD was over, we sat around talking about the good ole days, the 80's primarily. Where has the time gone was mentioned, we had no good answer, other than to say that we would do it all again if we could. 1980's = Vice!

@wilbert916 I totally agree with your depiction of our modern television shows! CSI Miami is a very nice rendition of Miami Vice, but to much "techno-gadgetry" and not enough inner character story lines! That Burn Notice show, no where close to being in Vice's league, cheese ball story lines, corny acting ect. ect. I agree the Vice movie sucked apes balls, it was trash! When I heard about the Vice movie I thought the original cast was coming back, not stand in's. Maybe they will try it again!
