  • Actually, he cites all his sources...so it's a lie and a distortion to suggest that he "passes it off as his own research".

Also, you've brought exactly zero new information to the discussion. All you've done is be smarmy, and you couldn't even google President Kennedy's most famous quote.

Tired of correcting? Good...please stop...it's painful to watch you go on.

  • Additionally, this story had been on going for a day on all the networks. So it is pretty dishonest to say that fox put out the story dishonestly and people got the wrong idea. In fact everything Bret Baer said happen...did in fact happen. And frankly it wasn't news by then. Fox was beat to the punch to find out that there were changes to the story. But do you know which other news sources were also slow to report it? I bet you don't. think, it's a powerful word.

  • Did you even watch Lee's video? You keep saying he copy and pasted and he got his news from the same "right wing sources". He specifically says he got the original transcript put out by the department of education. Is the department of ed the "right wing source you are talking about? then he specifically says he didn't see the fox news report prior to making his video. So you built a whole video around two untruthes (to put it politely).

  • Good response - the simple, accessible and eloquent points you made are belied by the unprofessionality of your video, which is a shame because you make more sense than Lee.

I cannot understand that "How The World Works" has viewers at all - the mental gymnastics required of Lee to rationalize and hide his bias underneath his own presumed (but fallacious) objectivity are obvious - he refused to address the context of Obama's broadcast speech, implying his own straw-man.

    He's a moron. Cheers

  • come on buddy, the right in America are crazy, they live on a diet of lies fear and FREEDOM. They watch HTWW and heir glenn beck and believe the lies and deliberate msitruths as fact. This is what happens when people are scared. Watching this from Ireland it makes for hillarious tube tv. Palin, heir beck, O'Reilly and dipshit Doren lol what a shower of dipshits.. Liked your points, good response....

  • And what research did you do on OBAMA? NONE. And MSNBC? They were humping Obama's leg. Furthemore, I want to know when BBC is going to correct the mistakes that they made. BTW, I have seen BBC, CNN, FOX, and MSNBC. Fox is the MORE honest and reliable of the four. You need to think before you open your mouth.

  • how old are you?

  • The objection was not to the speech it was two the classroom activities. Why say help the president what does he have to do with them getting good grades. It's trying to involve him in things he doesn't belong in.

and you said you changed the video then you said he didn't correct himself...BUT HE DID IN THE LIBERALVIEWER VIDEO!@!

  • China has taken over as the #1 economic superpower and the US will never be the same

  • If you are going to say (even you are wrong) htww is copying so is Obama. He took material from other peoples speeches (libs) and used it but no one reported it except fox you retard

  • Just to let people now, he has just massed commented on about ten of my vid's, he has no life, and he is wrong

p.s. I dont care about obama, so what if he copied someone elses speech, I dont care, besides two wrongs dont make a right. idoit

  • FOX NEWS IS NOT SPREADING LIES.

They are the ones that exposed Acorn. Yes it is a milestone but a socialist seriously he is going to ruin the US.

I bet you Hate Ronald Regen.

  • wait u want obama to ruin the us

  • Bldgy- government is only too big when their people are not in power. They cant figure out the whole reason we are based on limited government is to prevent this.

They do like the vote to rob Peter so they can buy Pauls vote and call it "contributing"

  • Oh great another foreigner that thinks folks in the U.S. gives a rip about their opinion, how about you concern yourself with your failed little island and we'll worry about our country. What an irrelevent little posser.

  • I have said this countless times, I dont care about your country, I dont want to change your country, but if I see someone lie and talk crap I will correct them.

    Cont

  • If it bothers you that people from other nations talk about someone else country then why dont you tell htww to fuck off, as he has mentioned my country numerous times, yes I live on a failed little island, the one that colonised you, crushed German nazism and controlled the largest empire in human history, yeah what a joke my country is. Grow up, read a book.

  • @reckingmachine Everybody knows that America's industrialized beast of a nation owned German Nazism during WWII. If the US didn't ennter the war Europe would probably have been completely owned.

  • Read a history book you spaz, British resilience and technology, Russian men and American money won the war. You didnt even join the war at the start, or even willingly joined it.

  • LMFAO!!! Shut your cock hole assclown, If it weren't for the U.S you would be speaking German right now!! We crushed the Nazis and controlled the largest empire in human history!, and those people that left England to colonize America did so to get away from stupid fucktards like you!!! NOW GET A FUCKING HELMET IDIOT!!!!

  • Grow up

  • The USA voted on whether German should be the official language of the USA. There was significant anti-British sentiment in the USA in the 1930s in predominantly German settled ares. If it wasn't for the Japanese bombing Pearl harbor, USA would not have joined the warm and may well have ended up speaking German as well.

  • @Mrcharliebobo stop being so scared Mrcharlie. China will be your new owner very soon lol lol

  • @reckingmachine And what about Nev Chamberlain? You guys would so be speaking German if it weren't for us.

  • worry about your own fucking country and your own fucking media you little fat cunt. fuck off back to UK with your fuckin red hair and virgin baby dick you spineless liberal faggot

  • Besides the usual racist remarks, do you give anything to society?

How can I go back to my own country?? Im in my own country, Im on the internet you spaz, Im not actually in your house, that is a screen you are looking at.

I dont give a shit about your country and I dont want to change it, not unless something you do effects me, but when I here shit I correct it.

    Grow up.

  • wtf racist? I didn't think it was possible to be racist towards pale white kids with red hair, they have it bad as it is.

  • So the answer is, NO you cant offer anything else to society other then racist remarks. And yes it is possible to be racist when you say things like "fuck off back to your own country"

    Beyond Rtard........

  • i disagree pal. the race card really doesn't apply in this situation what so ever.

  • Grow up, mate.

  • You are very, very ignorant.

  • Wow you got trolled hard on this video... No offense but you didn't even say very much and they still attacked you.

    my sympathies

  • Oh and i'd love to see what you have to say to the new Acorn video.. the interest group Obamas in bed with and is now doing our census data and is tied into our government. A Democratic congressman promised to do a investigation of Acorn and then came back later and said that the "powers that be" asked me not to do it.... probably Obama but obviously speculation.

  • Obama won the election. No matter how often Glenn Beck and the right wing attack ACORN, Obama is still president. Attempting to align Obama with ACORN doesn't make a difference to anyone, anywhere.

It's good to keep conservatives distracted with nonsense, though. Fight the battles you can win.

  • Yes. Obama won the election. There were many instances of Acorn attempting voter fraud that were caught. Then Obama takes office, ensures they get huge kickbacks, and as I understand they now have a hand in our census data...

Absolutely nothing to see here people. Move on...

  • The losers always have an excuse for why they lost. I'm sure Obama won a landslide elections because of Acorn. Not because his opponent ran a terrible campaign, chose a horrible running mate, appeared to be going senile, etc.

But Acorn tried to engage in registration fraud that wouldn't have resulted in any fraudulent votes being cast...THAT'S the reason. Please.

  • That wouldn't have resulted in any fraudulent votes being cast? Really? And where do you divine this knowledge? A crystal ball? Oh, but I forget: You are the same guy who says it's ridiculous to make a legitimate argument regarding the tax code.

I also don't remember saying that his victory was solely due to Acorn. I merely stated the facts of the matter. Obviously you think its a bit suspicious, or you wouldn't feel the need to respond to factual information with such a hissy fit.

  • I'm just going to repeat myself because you're either having trouble reading or comprehending my point about churches.

Churches are tax exempt as long as they comply with certain rules. One of those rules is to not preach politics.

Some churches DO preach politics but nobody takes away their tax exempt status. There are videos all over the internet that prove it. I DO NOT SUPPORT THIS.

If you can address this argument, go ahead.

    Otherwise, stop wasting my time.

  • You said initially that you believed churches should have to pay taxes regardless. Changing your story?

Are you condoning the idea that an entity should have to pay the government a fee taxes to exercise a constitutional right? Do we buy our rights from the government?

And, again, the tax code forbids them from doing so. Are you really suggesting that it's OK for the govt to pressure them to endorse a bill when the government also says they aren't allowed to speak out against it?

  • Look, there is obviously some sort of communication problem here. I think you've been misunderstanding my comments.

Regardless of how I acquire my money, I pay taxes on it. Stock gains, paychecks, inheritances, lottery, whatever. I get money, I pay taxes.

Their SHOULD be NO exception for churches. If they make money, they should pay taxes on it. Then they can preach whatever nonsense they want.

If you disagree, fine. But don't pretend that I'm changing my story.

  • So now we are right back to the notion of taxing charitable organizations so politicians and bureaucrats can pocket the money that would have otherwise gone to the needy

And I find it quite disgusting that the govt would use the tax code to discourage people from exercising their freedom of speech

The bottom line is that none of us should have to pay an income tax. Regardless, whether or not we exercise our rights certainly shouldn't change our tax status. We do not purchase our rights from govt

  • Churches aren't necessarily charitable organizations. They're not required to do anything charitable. If they want to get involved in politics, they deserve no freedom from taxation.

But I don't know how you expect a government of any kind to sustain itself without taxing the population. Who is going to subsidize the military, police, roads, hospitals, and fire departments...some "charitable" mega church?

    Theocracy and libertarianism don't mix.

  • Required or not, large portions of most churches incomes are use for charitable causes. You tax them, and you are taking money from the needy to give to politicians.

And there is the main issue. You are saying that if one wishes to exercise our right to speak freely in political matters, that they must purchase it through government with taxes.

And when did I say anything about making this a theocracy? When did I say anything remotely related?

  • You may be surprised to know that the US Constitution only grants the government the authority to collect income taxes for a period of 2 consecutive years and only during war-time. As for how else should they generate funds: It is all outlined in the Constitution, and the government did it quite successfully for years.

It is the social programs (that the government doesn't have authority to create) in the first place that force and income tax. Government is too big.

  • Not to mention the fact that certain officials who serve one full term are paid a full annual salary for the rest of their lives. We have multiple agencies siphoning off funds, regardless of the fact that they all do essentially the same thing.

Plainly put: Government has gotten too big.

  • And I've already addressed these arguments once. Do you really think that your attempt to sidestep the issue isn't transparent?

  • Obama in his earlier years was a lawyer for Acorn. Acorn helped fund his campaign and Obama returned the favor and put them in charge of doing some of our census data. And now that you see just how dirty Acorn really is how can it not "make a difference" in how u feel about Obama. If you really believe that u really are a drone and a complete moron.

  • Not to mention that u avoided all my other points and used your Glenn beck right wing over used speech as fill for the other 90% of bull **** you just wrote.

  • Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.. Not what your children can do for Obama. These are completely different, JFK's speech was to everyone whereas Obama is ONLY addressing the children. Also you want to talk about his original speech when amazingly you can't find them anywhere nor will he release his budget for it.

  • Just so you can double check the FACTS... The clip of fox starts at the 0:50 mark on the video you responded to posted by HTWW, where the reported states it EXACTLY as I quoted. Second Part 2:07 is where HTWW states he had NOT seen the Blog OR FOX... So after listening to your rant and spewing vulgarity, those of us who do "THINK" & "LISTEN" are only left with the conculsion that you are absolutely clueless and CAN'T think for yourself, accepting only the information that makes YOU feel good!

  • You ridicule him over and over again because He got his news from Fox and didn't verify it before opening his mouth (summarizing b/c you used vulgarity) and you even say "Yeah I saw your timeline" and if you had "LISTENED" He posted his video @ the same time, didn't even use them as a source in his ORIGIONAL video. It was Liberal Viewer who ASSUMED He got it from Fox (even though Fox wasn't the only 1 reporting it). HTWW even states WITHOUT seeing the BLOG OR FOX NEWS, He posted HIS VIDEO...

  • contradicting the very Constitution our Nation was built on! "What can I do for the President?" I'm sorry, IT'S US that puts HIM in office... HE has to sell himself to US. So YES those of us who hold value to the dreams our founding fathers had when our Nation was set up is VERY important to us! Especially those of us who's families serve in our military forces risking their lives so we can KEEP those dreams ALIVE!! Now onto my NEXT point on "LISTEN" the video you responded to condeming HTWW...

  • quote accurately. Yet the people who were in opposition to the white house were not upset with the "updated" website, but the ORIGIONAL post. Fox REPORTED the NEWS as it WAS. I did not agree with the whole mess myself, NOT the fact that Obama was encouraging kids to stay in school, BUT that the ORIGIONAL exersizes afterwards were REDICULAS!!! First of all, Congress and White House, Republican & Democrate is HIRED by WE the PEOPLE, WE do not BOW to them! For young children it's teaching is

  • Not only is "Think" a powerful word, but so is "Listen." IF you HAD listened to the clip used from Fox News you would have "HEARD" stated "The White House is facing opposition from several groups over next week's National Address by President Obama to school students..." Which would cause you think "THINK" "Why would that be??" It's common sense that story is lacking. So Fox News EXPLAINED WHY there were groups upset with the President. Which is the part you criticized them for failing to

  • 1. Obama tried to push his health reform through spiritual leaders in spite of the fact that spiritual leaders cannot preach about politics without losing their tax exempt status.

    2. Obama has tried using spam (illegal) to push his healcare reform.

    3. Obama has given tax money to artists to urge them to push his agenda through their artwork.

Then Obama wants to address our children, and the initial plan was to ask them what they could do to help the President.

    Why shouldn't people be concerned?

  • So, yes, think. After all of this, what is one left to believe? People do not want their children indoctrinated.

"Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country."

That is very different than saying

"What can you do to help the president."

Especially when the president wants to push something that the country doesn't seem to want.

  • "Spiritual leaders cannot preach about politics without losing their tax exempt status."

They do it all the time and nobody says shit. What a ridiculous argument.

  • Ridiculous argument? Perhaps you should look into the tax code. Enforced or not, for them to maintain their tax exempt status, they are restricted from touching on political matters with their congregation. It is very underhanded for the government to threaten to tax them if they speak of political matters but also try to pressure them to endorse specific political policies. Can you really not see a problem with this?

  • Of course it's a problem. I think it's absurd that churches aren't taxed as it is, much less when they preach politics.

But nobody enforces this stuff. Churches are untouchable as long as idiots donate millions of dollars to them.

  • So you think charitable organizations should be taxed? There's an interesting concept.

And should I bother to point out that much of those millions that those "idiots" donate to churches DO go to charitable causes? But your right, we should take that money away from organizations who help feed and house the needy and let our politicians pocket it.

  • And I find it funny that first it was a ridiculous argument, and now suddenly you are agreeing that they ARE restricted from doing such by the tax code.

Anytime the government attempts to regulate free speech by any means, it is bad.

It is worse when they then turn around and pressure those same people to push for government approved political agendas. IE: They cannot speak out against it, but they are pressured to speak out in favor of it.

  • "Just think before you speak"

He won't, he makes more money this way. Debates with him or the people flooding his comment sections are utterly pointless. I found out the hard way yesterday.

I commend you for trying though, with both him and CS.

  • Someone has got to bite the bullet. With people like inmendham essential getting wiped off the map people are going to have to step up to the mantle to keep on making the points.
