We sorry Sarah oh No Problem fellas go in and open a few bottles on me .. JESH after the place gets rip up and trashed and they abuse her ,,, Not very bright women
My family had a tv since 1948 and I watched the moral decay over the last 60 years...Shows in the early 50s catered to the audiences in the studios in NY and LA....also, most tvs were in middle to upper class homes due to the expense of buying one...Take a look at Playhouse 90, Studio One and Sid Caesar as extremely well written live programming...compare that to the reality crap of today
I grew up watching Gunsmoke, and The Virginian, Bonanza, The Iron Horse, High Chaparral, The Big Valley, etc., etc., etc. The one thing that the modern shows don't have that the old westerns do have is a moral. Good guys had purpose and values. The execs at the networks should look to the past for entertainment instead of producing the crap they do.
@wence5 Yeah but sometimes the past is the best place to be. I also grew up watching these shows, and ones like Dukes of Hazzard. Now there are no shows that you can really sit and watch with your kids like I used to with my dad.
@HartKent i am 13 and i feel the same way i hate watching TV shows. i watch tvland and hallmark when i do watch tv their is never anything good on and its all really stupid. i wish i could grow up in a time when tv was good.
@TheDeanmartinfan1 Man you would have loved growing up in the late 70s early 80s when family tv was truly for families. Your right about tv today, there is nothing that isn't filled with cussing, violence or sex. Even the so called kids shows are questionable! You seem to be quite grown up for your age...that gives me hope for the next generation! Good for you!
awesome video

During the opening scene I couldn't help but admire Marshal Dillon's illegal immigration policy.
