to fully understand the advertisement (and the joke at the end) you have to know, that germans and german language were oppressing the czech language and culture in those times, Jungmann and other people were trying to force the german language out of the czech lands

He's tryin to revive the czech language in the 19th cent, when it was German language spoken in Czechia a lot..and he's tellin some poems in Czech about Czech language and beer

..and then he thanks for the beer and says it in German :D
