This is wrong Napoleon didn't declare war on Britain. Britain did not honour the treaty of 1802 and decided to keep Malta therefore Napoleon was pissed off. Then Britain pissed off Russia when Russia told them to leave Malta in 1799 and they said no. Then Britain wanted to take French colonies and declared war on Napoleon in 1803. Russia declared war on Britain until 1801 first but the Czar died so they switched sides.
