Nice job! I do think it is a tad slow but I know that this aria takes a lot of work. It is a tough one to sing but amazing song! You sing it well!

This is probably one of the most beautiful pieces in the entire Messiah. (besides the Hallelujah Chorus).

This tempo is so great. It gets that perfect lugubrious feeling underneath the soloist. I'm also glad he took the Low G and F pattern. Those are some sexy low notes.

Singing this and "For Behold..." in voice lessons. It's amazing. Handel was a hero. They just don't make composers like that anymore... The entire Messiah oratorio is musical perfection! And he wrote the whole thing in 24 days.
