Actually, just recently President Bush announced that he wanted to remove the ban on offshore drilling and guess what happened - the very next day the oil prices went down - and continued for the next few weeks - until OPEC announced they would reduce production to attempt to keep the price high. So much for the 10 year theory. The world markets respond immediately knowing that in the future there's going to be an abundance of oil! Vote McCain/Palin for freedom from OPEC.

Obama will raise taxes only for the top 2% of the country, and cut taxes for 98% of Americans. He's not a religious nutjob. He wants to get us out of Iraq. He wants to avoid conflict with Iran. He supports universal health care. He has an actual history of supporting alternative energy, unlike McCain who opposed it various times McCain has none of these qualities.

on the alternitive energy but that will take time we need to stop the our dependance on energy and drill here until the tech can give us a good alt engery
Drilling for oil will take just as much time. First we need someone to drill, second there is no definite rule that the first drill will get oil, third by the time they get the oil (provided someone will do it after they get the okay, which will take time), then someone has to build a local refinery, which takes time to build and maybe you'll save pennies at the pump in 5 years because America pumps 10% of its oil now. There is no guarantee that they will get 90% (or close) more oil then.
Not to mention they don't even have the technology invented that would allow us to drill in the offshore environments where the ground is unstable, so creating the actual machinery to do so would take about three years!

But what experience does Obama have - about 140 days in the US Congress? And most of that time he was running for president. He hasn't authored one bill himself...but he authored 2 books about his favorite subject - his life. LOL Most of the time in the Senate he wasn't even there. Palin has much more executive experience than Obama - actually Obama has no executive experience. And we NEED to drill for oil and utilize natural gas, and Obama's against it. Actually, just recently President Bush announced that he wanted to remove the ban on offshore drilling and guess what happened - the very next day the oil prices went down - and continued for the next few weeks - until OPEC announced they would reduce production to attempt to keep the price high. So much for the 10 year theory. The world markets respond immediately knowing that in the future there's going to be an abundance of oil! Vote McCain/Palin for freedom from OPEC.

Wonder what all of the better-qualified Republican female politicians are thinking. They must be seething, not too mention the better qualifed Rep. men. Such a statement on Palin's ego to think that SHE ACTUALLY believes that she's ready. The lady just got a passport last year, I heard. I've voted R my whole life, but this seals the deal. Because he supports an America where the middle and lower classes aren't punished by taxes and economic failures of the Republicans. Obama will raise taxes only for the top 2% of the country, and cut taxes for 98% of Americans. He's not a religious nutjob. He wants to get us out of Iraq. He wants to avoid conflict with Iran. He supports universal health care. He has an actual history of supporting alternative energy, unlike McCain who opposed it various times McCain has none of these qualities.

Drilling for oil will take just as much time. First we need someone to drill, second there is no definite rule that the first drill will get oil, third by the time they get the oil (provided someone will do it after they get the okay, which will take time), then someone has to build a local refinery, which takes time to build and maybe you'll save pennies at the pump in 5 years because America pumps 10% of its oil now. There is no guarantee that they will get 90% (or close) more oil then.

Not to mention they don't even have the technology invented that would allow us to drill in the offshore environments where the ground is unstable, so creating the actual machinery to do so would take about three years!

You fucking moron, Obama's tax plan will LOWER taxes for 98% of all people in America. It will RAISE taxes for the top 2%, meaning the richest of the rich. McCain's plan will LOWER taxes for the rich, and RAISE taxes for the rest of us. What aren't you getting?
