Just to know that Infatuation remains a classic to date is a big honor and for that I am humbled. Thanx for taking it back to the moment where the parties were really wild and crazy-Lottie Dah!(formerly of Up Front)
Thank you so much for your love and support as time will always stand still as we hear a good classic and let it take us to another place in time-Lottie (formerly of Up Front)
This was one awesome song to hear at the clubs back in the day. It did not belong in the era of Madonna & Michael Jackson. It was in a class by itself.
I still ave the 12" LP. I especially liked the dub version where it goes into a funky '70s-style jam with a killer riff. Alot of DJ's would play that version first then mix in the intro of the full version.
The way she belts out that "infatuation...it's just infatuation..." was killer.
Hi Fam,this is Lottie Dah! formerly of Up Front. Thanx for all of your comments and sharing some good memories of what old school was about. It's good to hear my song once in awhile along with so many classics of that year.

Couldn't find the lyrics online anywhere.
Anyone know what she is saying after, "only trouble is..."
Wow this song has nice meanings; almost like a sufi poem.

It's 'only trouble is love ain't going blind, love can be easier with the eye then with the mind'.
