  • x64 components ae for win 64bit aren't they, doesn't work on a 32 bit version of windows.

  • @gandalfwiz20007 if the x64 compnent doesnt work you need a 64 bit system. look for x86 components

  • @555spyder it works without the 64 component on a 32 bit system, i've tried it

  • thanks man really helpful i was trying for ages i even installed tversity and it worked but low quality and no sound so thanks man :) thumbs up

my gf says thanks sweetie cause now she can watch Greys Anatomy

  • Do I need to install both of them?

  • Thank u.Finally.

  • hey man,

    works it with WVista?

    THX

  • It works perfectly :)

  • what the fuck is he saying? lol

  • thanks

  • how come some mkv files work but others dont?

  • @DiirTyDaNN I'm The Real Dirty Dan

  • Thanks Kyle. Worked perfectly.

  • Media center can't even connect to my xbox, even if I enter a new code

  • @Jean0987654321 You have to check your firewall settings, that was my problem also and check if both your xbox and computer are connected correctly to your network

  • THANK YOU!

    Liked and SUBBED :)

  • This does work but when i watch 720p movies the quality is shitty! do i have to go through setting or something?

  • @Coles109 It's because of your internet connection. Windows Media Center uses internet to access the files on your computer. If you have a fast working connection there will be no streaming problems whatsoever. But if you have a slow connection, streaming 720p or 1080p videos is unlikely.

  • @SomeCoolShitTV very incorrect. For some reason, using these codecs makes 720p videos VERY fuzzy and pointless. I have a VERY fast internet connection so that has absolutely NOTHING to do with his problem

  • DO NOT INSTALL THIS IT WILL MAKE YOUR COMPUTER RUN SLOWLY

  • ur fucking amazing

  • I installed both these, then opened an MKV file in WMP and it worked fine, thankyou

now to test streaming to the xbox

  • is there a x86 componants because now the mkv only works on the (pc laggy) and dose not work on the xbox

  • Why does my xbox lag so much when I try to watch mkv files? it plays but with lots of lag.... what happens?

  • I have a question It goes all ghetto quality for me on the xbox but when I watch the movie on the PC its HD. Thanks.

  • @TehHavock Probably an issue with how you are connected to your xbox. If you are not using Wireless N or Ethernet you will likely not be able to stream HD content to it. Too much data

  • does this work with windows vista?

  • THANKS <3

  • Comment removed

  • well... worked for me thanks

  • Thanks man!!

    Go Canucks GO!!!!

  • can anyone actually hear what he is saying?

  • For me, installing Shark007 by itself, didn't work, as the .mkv files (for some reason) didn't appear in WMC. I had to install the divx plus codecs as well.

Once both were installed, they appeared and played fine on the 360. YMMV. Thanks for the intro to Shark007, as it wouldn't work without it. Thanks!

  • @SomeCoolShitTV So all I have to do is install it and that's it? Then I can happily watch MKV videos on my xbox360. Right?

  • @BF3Enthusiast yupp

  • Why is windows media player slow on my Xbox360? Is there a way to the improve the performance?

  • @BF3Enthusiast It is most likely due to a slow network. Ultimately streaming quality is only as good as your LAN speed. It is known that wired Ethernet speeds are much faster and more reliable that wireless speeds. Also check the speed of your Ethernet cords. 10mbps (Cat 3), 100mbps (Cat 5) and 1000mbps (Cat 6). The higher the category, the faster the wire speed. Also check the speed of your router or switch. Wireless speeds can go up to about 300 mbps while Wired can go up to 1000mbps

  • Thank you its works
