I have been trying to get my cobra inurance up and running. I have already paid the insurance co for two months but I am still not covered. My former employer has not returned any of the phone calls made by Blue Cross.
This is good for those who *recently* lost their jobs. However, it sounds like those of us SAHMs (Stay at Home Moms) whose husbands were laid off from full-time positions earlier than 3 years ago have no access to this program. Nonetheless, thank you for sharing this explanation, QMan51!

might have to go out on disability can tought I read somewhere that cobra can be extended to 36 months can it.
