It uses something called a Time Shift engine, and its quite powerful. Its one of the best Excellence frames, the other being Lightning, which is piloted by the girls brother.
The only real difference between the two is attack animations and the final move. Eternal uses a long range cross shaped blast, and Lightning lets loose a hellish combo.
