Modern Warfare 2 First Impressions

it's really cool shit looks tight but after the hype dies down halo will be back on top. you can't get anymore fun than halo, for reallls.

MW2:The best game ever best multiplayer and i think u all can agree...halo 3 is trash compared and the bling perk is a great perk: ex. SMG silencer + red dot and thats my number1 choice so far.

Out of Halo and MW, I don't really know which one I can really choose, I didn't know about CoD 4 when it came out, until my brother came home with it in his hands, I knew more about Halo then...But I was so phsyced for Halo 3 and ODST, it's hard to tell which is better, theyre both really competitive games that I love, and they are hard to stop playing, but I have this little feeling that I'm gonna like this game, more than any other that I've played before.

You can't really compare Halo 3 and Modern Warfare 2. They're releases are 777 days apart. (Ironic eh?) OF course Modern Warfare 2 is better. Before comparing IW and Bungie wait for Halo: Reach. It actually look pretty good so far. I'm actually more hyped for MW2 though.

You can compare the two. Theyre both heavy hitters in the FPS category. As great and amazing as Halo is, MW2 certainly takes it to the next level. Reach looks very promising. Definitely has potential to take back its rightful spot on top. However Xbox will always be the house that Halo built.

Halo 3 would be compared to MW1, as Bungie wasn't anywhere near as advanced as they are now.

True however I dont think he was comparing the two by how advanced they are, but by hype and overall satisfaction. MW2 left me very satisfied within the few matches i played, more so than Halo 3. Reach on the other hand is being built on a new engine and has much room for potential.

I was talking about the fact that he was disappointed. That was only because Halo 3 wasn't as amazing because of how advanced it was(n't?). Yet MW2 is only living up to it's hype because of the graphics and and so much stuff packed into one game which Halo couldn't at the time.

Halo did all that. The graphics were top notch and Bungie added a lot with the equipment. But even if we are comparing COD4, a game within its time period, had little hype and outperformed Halo 3. From Halo 2 to Halo 3 they just didnt take it to the next level. MW to MW2 took it beyond. In no way am i trying to downplay Halo, i love the game, its just my opinion.

very well put my friend they are both fuckn awesome games why bicker over which is better?shit i bought odst on its release date im gettn mw2 the 10th and im buying reach.why limit yourself to just mw or just halo they both dominate the fps catergory
