I thought Nixon was absolutely brilliant in this episode. Her performance and the 1st person camera angles really pulled me in. And the last line of the episode still gets me every time I watch it.
Also, I'm amazed at how accurate the portrayal of the stroke was. MCA branch, Broca's aphasia, hemiparesis and the Merci device vs. tPA all are textbook.
this is fantastic! to be honest this is the only episode of ER i've ever watched and its definitely cynthia nixon that made me sat through the whole thing.
