31-16 in bowl games. michigan is 19-21, nd is 15-15, ohio state is 20-22. miami is 18-16, florida is 19-19, alabama is 33-22. even though we cannot make a bowl game for another 3 years, none of the top contending schools will even come close to a winning record like that.

This song is not synonymous with winning pre coach Caroll. The team's record was 37–35 from 1996 to 2001, their second-worst over any five-year span in history. Many Trojans fans were giving up hope, until Pete Caroll came. Now he's gone.....
Im from Tennessee and a very big Tennessee fan. That being said, ever since Lane Kiffin has became our coach ive payed more attention to USC football. The Trojans have quickly became my 2nd fave team. You guys remind me of Miami in the 80's (the "U") days. We havent had the record to show for it this year but we are on our way back up. About San Jose State, they're not that bad of a team, they went 6-6 last year. They're no powerhouse, but they're certainly better than the team that was blown out by an Illinois in 2005 that had to have been the worst BCS conference team in history (Penn State led 56-3 at Illinois by halftime over them and could have made it 112-3 without even running up the score but JoePa called off the dogs halfway through the second quarter). For many elite BCS teams, that'd be a semi-marquee game.

About San Jose State, they're not that bad of a team, they went 6-6 last year. They're no powerhouse, but they're certainly better than the team that was blown out by an Illinois in 2005 that had to have been the worst BCS conference team in history (Penn State led 56-3 at Illinois by halftime over them and could have made it 112-3 without even running up the score but JoePa called off the dogs halfway through the second quarter). For many elite BCS teams, that'd be a semi-marquee game.

Did you go to usc? If not, you can't defend it so passionately like you went there. I went to Texas and Ucla. Texas has 832 wins, second most in history, and they beat usc in usc's backyard. They both have 1 bcs title this decade. This is the bcs era. The bcs is what matters. Lsu and florida both have more bcs titles than usc and texas this decade. So once again, did you go to usc, or did you just become a fan in 2002?

I can name one team. Texas. Since 2001, they are the only team with double digit wins every year, and they beat usc in usc's backyard. And usc still only has one bcs title. So if they are a dynasty, so is texas, and oklahoma, and ohio st., and florida st. and florida, and lsu, and miami. Your post was epic fail.
I went to texas for my bachelors and got my masters at ucla, so don't give any conference comparisons like the pac10 gets no respect crap I went to a pac10 school for my masters.

USC has 7 straight BCS appearances, 7 straight top 4 finishes, 7 straight 11+ win seasons, 7 straight conference titles, 2 NATIONAL TITLES (the BCS doesn't mean shit unless there is NO DOUBT, funny because that was USC's motto in '04), also USC has been a better school than Texas overall throughout HISTORY, they have produced more NFL talent NOW AND THEN, USC is simply better than Texas in every way. Except for having REDNECK fans.

Which is more 1 bcs title or 2 bcs title? usc, and texas(my school, for that matter both only have 1) while 2 other schools have 2 bcs titles. That means if usc is a dynasty with 1 title, so is texas since they beat usc. And the the schools with the 2 titles. And all the other schools that have won titles this decade.

That is it. They do have a ap title. However, are you telling me that at the beginning of 03, usc went into the season with dreams of winning the ap title? Yeah right, you know they wanted the bcs in 03. If that were the case, then Usc will be telling everyone that its goal is win the ap title in 09.

LSU's titles were vs Ohio State, and OU. In NEW ORLEANS. Defacto home games as the Bayou Bengals are ONLY the major game in the state.
Here is a note....OSU & OU have lost their last 9 (NINE) combined BCS games in a row. Not exactly a "dynasty" LSU can make an acclaim to.

Ask LSU or UF when was the last time they finished #4 or better 7 years in a row and won a minimal of 11 games (Once 13-0. twice 12-1, 4 times 11-2) in that stretch? BTW, USC is 4-0 vs teh SEC in teh BCS era, since you seem to think the "BCS" era is all that matters. The Pac-10 is 11-7 vs the SEC head to head in the "BCS" era, since that is what matters. Every SEc team has played except Ole Miss, Vandy, and UF. That is it.
