It didn't solve all her problems, she wanted to join a group where she could feel accepted, most likely because she had bad parents, she joined the goth group but she ended up getting involved with the police, so she joined the punk group and at the end you can see her walking with the group like she is accepted.

A Truly gifted band , and I managed to see them at the Round House Camden lock , they were my prefered band from all of the other sn, and they still stand the test of time with thier original tunes.

I'm 50. The thing that gets me scratching my head is the tattoo fad. Mowhawk haircuts, safety pins etc. etc. were fads you could grow out of. Which is inevitable. You can't wash off tattoos when the styles change or you change or both. I can't imagine being permanently stuck with a fashion choice I made when I was 20.

I don't believe the thoughts and beliefs of "punk" ever died. However, not everyone who listens to punk rock music must "dress the part". Yeah that little chick was cute with her wild Siouxsie Sioux hair. Why would she feel the need to shave it off? I find it ironic that the video* is clearly about being yourself and being non-conformist, but the parade of freakish punk chicks at the end actually seemed to gain-say its own message: "Sure, let's all be non-conformists by adopting the same style and walking about in a mob!" *I doubt this was the actual message of the song.

I wish I could be re-winded back in time.
I dress like I'm from this time. and I was born in the 90's.... music now is crap compared to this. I'm not part of my generation. I love the Stranglers.... and one of very few teens who absoultley love them and this time. (I have a sex pistols poster hanging up in my room :P )

@CherrySprings wow, CherrySprings, never actually thought of it... i'm a part of this generation too and i'd love to live back in the 70s or 80s but so do lots of us, born in the 90s... maybe believing you don't fit is a part of it...
anyway, we're not and will never be able to live in the 70s or 80s, so just enjoy your lives in the 2000s and keep the spirit of the good music alive ^^

@HansSchroif I boycotted the ad companies long ago by using Ad Blocker. More and more uses some kind of ad blocker nowadays, and the ad companies don't get the drift, so they ad more ads in the hopes that those who don't use it will click them >.<
To the ad companies andweb developers: Go back to banners, you don't get more customers by being obnoxious.

Great Song. Great Video. Be who you want to be. Don't be a sheeple. Who cares if those barbie dolls stare at you? They're just plastic puppets after all. I still shave my head and dye patterns into it, and get positive remarks from people off all ages and walks of life. It's how you carry yourself, treat others and feel inside.

I'm 50. The thing that gets me scratching my head is the tattoo fad. Mowhawk haircuts, safety pins etc. etc. were fads you could grow out of. Which is inevitable. You can't wash off tattoos when the styles change or you change or both. I can't imagine being permanently stuck with a fashion choice I made when I was 20.

Kelsmart, whoever you are, for sure I don´t recommend you being 50 and have lived all that punk stuff. Even for me that lived only 40 everything nowadays looks weirder than everything that I´ve imagined in my past weirdest dreams. I thought the world would melt into garbage, but it melted into strange technologies and a kind of bovine stupidity. Everyday I meet sheeps & wolves, sometimes they´re melted together, eating each other joyfully.

Kelsmart, Punk was an attitude and way of thinking as much as a "LOOK" so you can find and meet like minded people if you look around! They were good times and youth culture was strong back then but i would dearly love to be 20 something again so enjoy being different and enjoy your youth. All the best. Punk's Not Dead!!!! :-)

@firemission100 Amen to "Punk's not Dead"! I'm 35 years old and lived in a time (80's) when the punk radical counter culture was still around. I don't believe the thoughts and beliefs of "punk" ever died. However, not everyone who listens to punk rock music must "dress the part". Kelsmart should look outside the box and understand that "punks" are still around, but they just do not always look like a punk. Just have to open your mind.

@Blindeyes1431 No one I knew used hairspray to do that, neither did I. Hairspray was what they used in the 1960s. This is hair gel (for those who had the cash), or good old white LePage's wood glue (for those who didn't).
