Dang dude, I never realized how much carnage you have filmed till now. Seemed like when I was riding, almost every time we went in a group doing some mountain twistiest, there would always be one squid riding over his head and crashing.
@glendeco You are correct about someone going beyond his limits during group rides etc. Yet, when I was flying, incidents resulting in injury / damage were rare. Most of the footage is the result of a great deal of patience & planning....I'm at one particular location from 06h30 to 13h00 most Sundays. There are far more riders on a section closer to the capital, but this particular corner seems to be tricky for many riders.(downhill, 2 apexes & varying camber)
You got lots of clips about the traffic accidents on 北宜, and knows the road conditions kinda well. But Chinese seems not you mother language. Where're you from?
Way too much commitment for the public road! Nothing in reserve. If he's riding that hard every weekend, this result is inevitable. 10/10 for bravery though!
If you ride on the limit (100%), the road conditions will easily let you fall. There were loose stones on the outside of the corner. This guy rides really hard, so this was to be expected. (I see him most weekends)
@jthaoz Not necessarily...a different line would have allowed him to exit the corner much faster. However, the rider is a local (lives 5km away) and knows the corner well. Why he chose that line is not clear.
@CyberEditing ya are pros. i wouldn't know how to do those turn aha. i drove a motorcycle once and i was in love. hopefully i get a bike next year. seeing all these video of people crashing i think it's scary but if i drive safe i should be alright.
I feel (sorry) for this rider, because we socialized a little in the past few weeks & he's featured in some of my previous vids. Be warned, accidents can happen to anyone at anytime, regardless of skill. It's a matter of statistics.
@CyberEditing Man where are you from..?? Your Chinese translation to the English is a bit more weird. It will be much better if you can take them off....or find someone who can really do the translation job for you... hahha
@thoffarius Agreed, the "slow-mo" footage shows the rider sliding under the rail & getting whacked by an upright. Amazingly, racetracks used to use these barriers until the late 1960's / early 1970's. Rider was OK....though I don't know why he wasn't injured.

@klps4809 Agreed, ran wide, then turned in too hard, at the apex,
and ran out of ground clearance: = GAME OVER
同意,衝出賽道,然後轉身太硬,在心尖,
跑出來的離地間隙:= GAME OVER

@wdassdify 这是一个地方(宜兰)车手骑有每个星期天。他骑太快,道路湿滑/尘土飞扬/脏的部分。
He still rides hard, but not as quickly on that particular corner.
Thanx for commenting.

去買一本 國外的有關SR的事情 油門控制不當 以及過彎姿勢 真的 需要改進才能叫做安心上路。

馬力太大出彎油門摧太多就去了,多摔幾次右手就會安份一點
da048587 5 months ago

(I agree, but it was a combination of several other factors as well.
I'm glad both the rider & bike are fine now.)
