  • 1:13-1:14 Stanley's Whistle

  • When I first saw this trailer as a kid I though Alec Baldwin was Dick Van Dyke from Mary Poppins, what an epic fail I was XD it's just he looked so much like him

  • Why did they show the ending in the movie?

  • I think John Bellis should voice Thomas in the upcoming WWII movie!

  • shining town ?

  • Boomer is heard not seen! Keith Scott wasn't screaming when he was falling off the viaduct, it was Doug Lennox's scream for PT Boomer!!

  • john bellis is better

  • john bellis is better

  • What I'd do to see this film in cinemas again.... :(

  • 1:11 Gee, uh... Thanks Thomas!

  • i prefer John Bellis as Thomas rather than Eddie Glenn who was in the final cut

  • PT Boomer probably wasnt in the viaduct part in this because the editing wasn't done yet, trailers usually come out before most of the film is finished

  • 0:35 FAIL "Shining TOWN"

  • I thought John Bellis sounded different in the teaser.

  • when i was younger i was really jealous of the bit where the girl (mara wilson) goes into the portal to find lady and gets a ride on thomas. to be honest i still am kinda

  • Thomas sounds....strange in this, those test audiences were right in terms of Thomas's voice, Eddie Glen's way better.

  • The voices are so much better in this version.

  • "You're a really useful engine Thomas"

    *Chink!*

  • The part where Thomas said "I'll save a seat for you" made me smile really big.

  • Shining town!

  • the voices sound very funny...

  • John Bellis wasn't a firefighter. Wasn't he a taxi driver?

  • He works for the fire service now

  • @SI3DFilms When I first saw that on the SiF page I thought it meant he was a railway fireman, the one who stokes the coal.

  • @SI3DFilms He was technically both at the time, taxi driving was just a part time job if I'm correct

  • @TheUnluckyTug1 - He worked as both a fireman and a taxi driver at the time.

  • @TheUnluckyTug1 he WAS a fireman in a different context though, he worked on the Isle of Man Steam Railway, he also coincidentally worked as a taxi driver, his voice is much better than Eddie Glen's, shame people thought he was "Too Liverpudlian" and "Too Old", That's what Thomas on TV is all about! The Liverpudlian voice provided by the narrator! And Thomas was just over half a century old, he was 54 so, Bellis would've been perfect for the role!

  • You know, most people blame Britt Allcroft for this movie's failure, but I actually blame the test audiences. It's their fault John Bellis, Patrick Breen, Keith Scott, and MICHAEL ANGELIS were cut from the cast, it's their fault P.T. Boomer was cut out, and in all, it's their fault the movie wasn't as entertaining as it could have been.

Great find, BTW! I don't think I've ever seen this before, so it qualifies as rare. :-P

  • 0:50 If you look to the left, I think you will see studio equipment

  • Or it could be the other side of the viaduct

  • @SI3DFilms 1 question. Why did Neil Morrisey have to provide the voiceover for this trailer?

  • you know looking back on this and looking at calling all engines the great discovery and hero of the rails the new specials seem to be more entertaining than this i mean having alec baldwin and mara wilson was great but there are somethings they should have done differently

  • Very Good

  • Ugh, I really wish this was the version released. :(

  • Thanks for posting Callum! Been ITCHING to see this!

  • This is in one of the American VHS videos Spills and Chills

  • No, its from the Batman of the Future Video "School Dayz". The one your talking about is the teaser Trailer. This is the Theatrical Trailer

  • @SI3DFilms Batman Of The Future videos. Not just 'School Days', but also 'Spellbound'. I have both of those. :)

  • thomas sounds like a scoucer @ 0:41

  • was this movie even filmed in wide screen?

  • @HPPFilms No..

  • @HPPFilms Yes, but it was changed to fullscreen

  • I wish they didn't the orginal voice with Ed Glen :(

  • Hmm, I believe I remembered seeing this kind of trailer from it's official website 10 years ago!! Thanks for bringing it back!

  • Man, I am really glad how D10's final voice came out :)
