  • Nice car but the color is off, it needs to be completely black

  • why those rims?

And I remember at mopar nationals about 9 years ago when plymouth was still a brand they had a cuda body on a viper....just amazing.

  • would've preferred the small originals for nostalgia but those don't larger remakes don't look that bad I suppose :)

  • okay got a question why does he have 6 pack on the car when there are no carbs on the engine? it fuel injection so take it off

  • @johnsonjeremiah74 its called a sleeper car!

  • Loser: "Heys guys, I just put a new computer chip in my car, giving me 23 extra hp!"

Smart guy: "I just dropped a V-10 viper engine into my 1970 Dodge Challenger, giving me an extra 500 horse power, bitch"

*All the girls surround the smart guy*

  • @TheMadDooby Computer chip- 700-1k, V-10 Viper engine- 7-10k. Do the math smart guy.

  • @Jorgeeeehhh You clearly don't know how to have fun.

  • wow you werent kidding

  • clean ass fuck!!!

  • Sex.

  • my thoughts throughout the video: sexy... pretty clean, wheels are alright, nice hood, ok, lets see whats unde- OHMOTHEROFGOD!!

  • oh yea like car

  • @ROBBY639 hey man what's up? this engine it cost one measured of $25k

  • What kind wheels is that? love them

  • Comment removed

  • Aggression in its most elegant form.

  • AWESOME CAR!

  • magnifico todo un dodge....

  • that sounds awesome. nice work on the car. whats next for that beast?

  • You ruined a classic. Put the vintage engine back in it.

  • Niiiiiiiiice

  • Very nice, beautiful, not a fan of the v-10 though

  • @phil656565 I'm not a big fan of your mom, I'd still take her for a ride tho...hahahahah!!

;-) sorry man, j/k.....i thought that and it was too funny to not say.

  • M M M! GAWD DAMN

  • Any idea how much it costs to buy and put this engine in? Or where to get one?

  • Can I touch it... please? *jizz*

  • frickin awesome....

  • Ur the most interesting man in the world

  • you are the man!

  • i think its bullshit to put a new motor in old car like that if a 340 isin't big enough put a 383 or a 426 hemi not a viper

  • @mattywilkins1 muscle cars...the bigger the engine the better, what the hell is wrong with a V-10?

  • @mattywilkins1 Except old motors like a break down and overheat and use shits ton of gas, and not only that but they're just not efficient at all. A modern engine with a modern transmission coupled with modern suspension and a modern power steering rack allows people to have a beautiful old car that they can actually drive everyday, and rack up the miles, just like a good car should. This is just an example of doing what I just said to the extreme, which is awesome!

  • @HyperShotty870 bro a muscle car can tank a tank, or any tin can they think is the "new" muscle cars

  • That car is ready to beat the shit out of all imports.

  • V8 :O

    V10 O.O fuck me

  • 1970's wow O.O

  • Very tidy conversion WELL DONE

  • if you want us to care... lets see it move (not saying it doesn't >.> lol it's just not as interesting just looking at it...)

  • no get the Hennessy upgrade

  • HOLY CRAP! IT HAVE VIPER'S V10 ENGINE?

  • HOLY CRAP!

  • orra parabéns! agora da para atingir os 400 Km/h brincando com esse motor e a estabilidade do Dodge fica ainda mais potente do que a Viper sRT10

    curti mesmo show de bola

  • love the beast

  • Holy shit bad ass car mopar or no car !!!

  • Parabéns, muito bonito...

  • bad ass car. i like both washer machines and these gas guslers.

  • can you turn around any slower?

  • This looks like a VERY professional build. No hacked up bullshit. This is more than just dropping a motor in, this thing had to require a completly different mounting structure, no scabbin in mounts the best you can. I can't imagine it hooks all that well but I also haven't seen the suspension either. Those poor things were hard to make hook back then. The B bodies (charger, roadrunner, coronet etc) had a much easier time hooking but the E bodies cuda, challenger) were just so damn cool looking.

  • not going to say this engine looks like it belongs there. BUT if it did, this is how it would look. VERY nicely done. wiring that beast in must have been errm, fun lol. but well worth it

  • get those wheels off, they make me sick

  • @FreightlinerTrukinCl i'm pretty sure they built that car for them, not for you

  • @skillz03784 im just sayin that they really dont go with the car

  • @FreightlinerTrukinCl they're styled after the original style wheels just a larger diameter.

  • I wonder Dos't it hook any better then the viper I am currours about this project and the other mods that had to be done Love those cars we had one 71 they where like spaceships 2 me LOL thanks for posing

  • I wish I hadn't watched this before going to work today....I think this just gave me a all day woody

  • great car except for the rims.

  • thank you for the google ad that endorses getting a new dodge and driving by gas stations faster

  • Original rims please....

  • I think i just shit myself

  • That's just too cool.

  • That calls for a burnout!!

  • my dad has one of these in purple and white:) old one and new one.

  • drool...

  • what the difference with this engine and a 572ci ?

  • @DORUKOZKAN well it didn't come on the t/a...

  • @gvcam09 what? sorry man im dutch haha

  • @gvcam09 no i mean performance wise

  • @DORUKOZKAN lol, i don't know, i was just messing around

  • But why? All you get is a buzz sound at higher reves, but sure, it's a badd azzz motor no doudt about and not to mention you get the benifit of an aluminium engine.

  • 22 people work in a toyota factory

  • And 21 people got camaros instead

  • If you did this so you can take it to the track or at least on the highway and open it up, then you have all my respect. If you did this to make a shiny show car that never sees the road, then you pissed away a lot of money for nothing. There is nothing more stupid than people who put a bunch of money into making a car look fast only to never actually drive it.

  • Viper motor as in the big V10's?

  • @Topboners No sir, slant 6

  • @whoisthislazer Go fuck yourself. It's a simple question that I knew the answer to, and I was just un aware that you could put them into Challengers.

  • is it bad that i got a chubby when i seen this?

  • ugly rims

  • how much did the motor cost???

  • if i had that car i would sleep in the engine compartment and shower in the oil tank

  • Sweetbilly, remember, with sound deadening and safety equipment on todays cars, they actually weigh more than older cars. But to the point of the hemi, Theres a reason it's still used in top fuel today, with enough money it's amazing, plus the 500ci maximum.

  • V10

  • my only question is what are this cars road manners like anyone ... almost anyone can build a drag car buy dropping in a big inch big power motor in a light (relativity speaking) car and be quick but its harder to do a drive-train swap in a car that takes turns and pulls double-duty as a street car and a track day toy giving the money to do this swap into my duster id more then likely go the gen 4 route with a t56 magnum and add the SRT-10 Badge to the stock dusters exterior mmm sleeper

  • right when you think you've done amazing on your dodge challenger, shined up the 340 and made her purr, you get one uped by a guy who decides he needs to be better than everyone else. your 70,000 to 100,000 dollar car looks like a pinto compared to this thing.

dont get me wrong that is one nice car.

  • super duper uberlicious thats one heluva sweet ass whip

  • One word: "Holyshit!!"

  • god that viper motor is scary looking. Nice work man, Love the car.

  • Shit thats a nice car

  • and i thought it was expensive to put a Big Block in my Dart ....

  • wow it's super clean i would like to have one :)

  • @sweetbilly that was the stupidest comment ever a 426 hemi (STOCK) does not have more hp or torque than the viper motor (STOCK) a viper (depending on year) has 600 bhp a 426 Hemi has 425 bhp hell a 6.1 Hemi (370 c.i.) has 425 bhp and the new 392 (6.4) Hemi has 525 bhp

  • @bobbywayne310 bull-O-neee, I don't know where you get your information my friend but a 426 hemi was the baddest racing engine ever produced (they are still being used in rail and funny cars today) ...even by today's standards it still produces more torque and horsepower per cube inch than the gutless trash they manufacture now. Viper only produces 425 hp stock, that's mopars' numbers. The difference you are talking about is in today's electronics, not in the engine.

  • @sweetbilly I would rather put today's suspension and electronics in a modern car than change the original HEMI.

  • i felt a Orgasm coming just looking at the car than he open the hood and i just blew

  • this is exactly how dodge should produce it's modern muscle. classic chassis, modern engine.

  • Wow! That's an awesome mash up!

  • the beast is gone WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Forget about the child support payments, just put me in the will.

  • well........if anyone was wondering what the definition of sexy was,,,,,,look no farther

  • I jizzed in my pants...

  • why did he take the beast out

  • Why would you out a modern engine in a car where the older 426 HEMI still produces more hp and torque?

  • @sweetbilly unless he uses this for racing, the viper engine will do just fine ;)

  • @nathan29101992 You're right nothing wrong withe a viper engine, it's just that I prefer to keep the original HEMI. :)

  • @sweetbilly a Challenger T/A never had a Hemi. Those were 340 six pac cars.An original Hemi Challenger is worth so much money you would have to be a complete moron to change it over to a viper engine, even though a v-10 powered e-body is totally bad ass.

  • @grasscat1977 That's right, T/A had the 340's, for trans am racing (I don't think i said any different ..may have by accident) but there were challengers with 426 HEMI's ...in fact, MOPAR is manufacturing both the 340 and 426 again. Its a bitch to get the original 426 heads which is where the real power in those engines were. My argument was that the 426 is still the baddest racing engine ever put in a factory car. I don't mind the viper engine but why do a viper engine when you can get a hemi?

  • @sweetbilly The 426 Hemi isn't much more than the 426 wedge block with different heads because the engineers used an existing engine to homologate it for racing.

  • @moparmonster1965 Right. That's why they call it a HEMI, "hemispherical heads". It was always the heads that made the performance difference in the 426. Same thing with the Ford BOSS 429 which was being built to challenge the HEMI in Nascar until limitations were put on those engines cause they were dominating the racing scene which eventually ended the use of the 426 Hemi.

  • @sweetbilly What you unfortunately didn't mention is that the "Hemi" is actually less of a hemispheric chamber than the 331, 354, and 392 engines that came before them because the spark plug isn't directly between the valves as in the 'whale' engines.

And keep in mind that Chrysler marketed the 215, 245, and 265 six cylinders as "Hemis," too, when they had only canted valves and nowhere near a hemispheric arrangement.

  • @moparmonster1965 Sure, I don't disagree, but the comparison is the 426 HEMI vs the Viper engine ...and even as far as they've come with modern engines I still prefer the HEMI and think the performance is/was better and they were easier to work on ...also keep in mind that the HEMI was moving 3k+ pounds of steel compared to today's plastic cars.

With all this new technology It's kind of sad to think they've only produced engines that are essentially only better on gas. :/

  • Obviously, the Viper's engine, despite its humble roots, was never carbureted, but even so, I think the V10 is a better overall performance engine, the same way a 318 is an infinite improvement over the Phord flathead V8. Really, it's hard to compare them because they're in different leagues.

  • @sweetbilly Really, though, it's comparing apples and front end loaders because first, engines built before 1971 were rated with the old SAE standard: no accessories and at the flywheel, whereas the ratings for the Viper at through the drivetrain and to the pavement. Second, you'd have to decide on which point you want to look at: be it carbureted or injected, and measure them both from that point.

  • @moparmonster1965 Sure, I'm not quite sure I'd agree it apples to front end loaders ...performance engines really have one use, performance. IMO, bottom line, horsepower, torque, reliability and possibly the engines performance potential (a fairly simple comparison I know) is all I'm really taking into consideration. I feel the 426 has been vetted while I still question the V10 ...I've never seen anyone use the V10 in a daily driver as well as say a funny car or a rail car.

  • @sweetbilly I mean you can build a four cylinder, put it in an all wheel drive car and dominate the highest performance muscle cars on earth, Porsche does it all the time, but put that engine in a rear wheel drive and dump the turbo and suddenly it's just another four cylinder... same thing with modern electronics. But put modern electronics, fuel injection in that 426 and we might have a different story ....I believe the 426 would still dominate most modern engines. it's just an air pump

  • @sweetbilly The modifications are variable from engine to engine, you can make an engine do anything once modified, but you know that already ...I'm only taking into consideration stock engines. The viper engine, while still a bad ass engine, I feel is lacking compared to a 426 HEMI. Now that 572 Chevy engine might be a different story ...that one might give the HEMI a run for the money ...and I'm not a Chevy fan, but that's a pretty bad ass engine.

  • @sweetbilly Well, just showing that they're very different animals. The best example I've heard is the 426 and 440+6 described thus: the Hemi is a detuned race engine while the Six Pack is a hopped up street engine. The argument was being made that the Six Pack is an overall better engine for everyday use, but given all of the carburetors, I don't think I'd want either. I'm through screwing with carbs and won't do it anymore, even changing the plan for my Dart to include Holley's Projection kit.

  • @sweetbilly Because he could...........

  • nice

  • personally i would keep the stock engine to preserve its "flavour", but hey its his car

  • The old school meets with New technology= Ass Kicking !!!

  • Comment removed

  • quick note...thats not a viper motor... its a viper ENGINE!!! a motor runs on a separate source of energy... gawd!!!!

  • NiCe

  • nice for drag but not for mountain tracks so kicking some jap car's ass... think twice

  • anybody know what kind of rims those are, on that car.

  • @supercrossman1 They are some aftermarket billet aluminum version of the mopar rally wheel.

  • just stupid. nice 360 with a mild turbo would be a bettter choice

  • I will take Horsepower over ricepower anyday. Cool car. Now how in the heck did you manage to fit that engine in there??

  • nice fake

  • But I'm building up an all aluminum 472 Hemi for it now though, getting the heads p&p, not sure on the intake yet but looking at a 7-7200 rpm redline, single Holley dominator carb, a Paxton Novi supercharger, methanol injection, MSD digital 7 ignition- looking for close to if not more than 1,000hp with this set up- should drop me into the 7's

  • @ need2speed94 440's are one of the cheapest engines to modify. I built a 528 Six pack for my 69 Charger from the ground up for about 8500$. Try 440 source.com for Stroker kits and blocks, edelbrock performer rpm head and cam, six pack intake with 3 Holley 2 bbls, heads Ported and polished, twin valve springs- 760 RWHP, 855ft/lbs of torque.

  • Chris Myers Chrysler wants to see pics of your classic MOPAR. And they are giving away $250! Calling all MOPAR owners, go here to learn more: facebook dot com / DodgeRamJeepChrysler

  • @chevroletman48 Yea man I get sick of going shopping, and I hear that loud ass whiney 4 cylinder horse shit, bustin ear drums, sounding like a damn washing machine. When it comes to American muscle, I don't mind paying a little extra at the pumps.

  • @TheDustyspears Haha come on, petrol is cheap over there.

  • CHANGE THE WEEL PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...

  • wouldn't this be a ten pack?,.... lol joking

  • sweet ride

  • I would rather have a 440 mopar under the hood, but i guess to each his own. Bitchin car dude :)

I get much more excited seeing a Studebaker or a Nash that has been nicely restored rather than another 55 Chevy, just like everyone in the show has. This is gay to you because you dont have enough brain cells to come up with an original idea yourself.

  • @Statimtek Fuck me, you are really stupid. Its obviously not a serious comment. I was taking the piss out of him saying this is a true mans car. It was a joke.

  • @newrez That was a pretty GAY thing tp say

  • excuse me, need to find some tissue .... !!!! WTF gorgeous

  • Glorious...

  • can you find new aftermarket parts for those cars or do you have to restore only?
