Except: in this convo, she envisions Lane having a girl and her bringing Nick. What actually happened? No Nick. Just her and Lane hanging out for several days before the appearance.
And a day after Brit "let the cat out of the bag" that investigators believe Nick's story about the fire was bogus. The investig'n is "closing in" on Mr. Nick.

It is mesmerizing to see how they both are trying to maneuver being together without Nick, and how they both have to outwardly maintain this fiction that Nick needs to at least be invited to everything they do together. You can easily see the wheels turning in their heads as they scheme to cut Nick out of their events.

It was a convo during Brendon's HOH (or Matt's 2nd maybe?) where Lane and Brit are talking outside and Lane's basically telling her that he's told people he can control her so that she'll stay in the game. And that he's in too deep with her.
