Armin just made the beats. That's pretty easy. As far as i know jan composed the song, and not armin. (or maybe its secretly some classical piece, which is often the case in trance)

DJ's are a bit overrated in the music industry. They're more like a brand. It's not like you're gonna notice he plays somewhere, but the idea of a certain DJ playing somewhere is what makes people come and enjoy the music more. It's all in their mind, cause they just put up music from others. Copy+ paste=simple

it may sound rare these days, but i would not even want be popular, 'known'. Despite of what many people think, i highly enjoy being totally anonymous. If you're known you have no pricavy, people will suck up to you and act phony.

Apart from that I really have no interest in being a DJ..I do compose music, but just for fun.. I could learn to DJ..and I'm quite sure i can do that..But there are 100 things that you are able to do..however you may have no interest in doing them

Well yeah..that's what they basicly do. make the crowd excited by being the famous Dj. Years ago, when tiesto was not that famous, he played in our university (in holland) as a surprise act on the yearly 'dance' event that was hosted there. The students were partly entertaining the music when they were just in (big hall) , but when they noticed it was tiesto, "suddenly" the music was all great and stuff..

So yeah....DJ's are basicly a brand which people love. Just like coca cola

Hmm...I partly agree. I think the way they describe ' best' in art is always a very tricky thing to do. If someone get's constant airplay because his promotional company does good work, does not make any artist actually the 'best'.One could call him the 'most famous' or something related.I'm sure there are tons of musicions or dj's who are actually better,but just not had the right people around them, and last not least: had quite alot of luck to jump on the wagon at the right time
