Although it was a thing of 70 years ago, Japan is only one country in a colored race, and was fighting with the United States, Britain, the Netherlands, Russia,, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, China etc. for three years and nine months.
I love the fact that these soldiers did not turn and run, the ones that could went out and fought. Perfect example, i know she's a character from a movie but the main girl, Evelyn i think her name was saw what was happening and had an opportunity to turn and run and hide. Instead she hesitates for one second and then her and her girls run towards the violence to save as many people as they could. Love that. Btw i never liked this movie i just liked this part of it.

Although we lost our battleship fleet, they didn't catch any of our aircraft carriers in port and our subs were untouched. Those submarines put a stranglehold on the enemy shipping and sank 4 IJN carriers and were a critical part of winning the war.

They provided supplies and support for the allies, but up until December 7th, 1941 they had not yet entered formal engagements. They declared war on Japan on December 8th, 1941 and shortly after that engaged in Europe. So yeah, for the United States World War II started on the morning of December 7th, 1941.

This movie is overdramatized...the attack was tragic but no civilians died, hospitals and civilian areas were not targeted (Although Japan did commit terrible things to civilians in Asia). The only two civilian deaths were due to American Anti-Aircraft guns who missed their target. This was a large loss, but survivors of this have called this movie, "terrible" & "Utter hogwash" many times.
Those ppl should have run TOWARDS the straffing airplanes instead of away from the straffing airplanes.That way the Americans would escape danger sooner.
Luckily, all the U.S. Carriers were not in Pearl Harbor.....Mainly, WWI era battleships were the ones lost in the Pacific Fleet during the Pearl Harbor Surprise Attack.

Well they resign from reality to make better effect all the bomber with bombs or torbedos after they drop them immediately return to the carrier not fly between ships with speed which is looking like 100km/h. Destroying aircraft on the airplanes was the fighter escort task till they were in big danger or waste all the ammo. The whole attack on Pearl Harbor was a defeat from japanese side. Read about it in wikipedia or memorial ww2 sites. It just looks good but it was a simple fail.
Great video i think that Peearl harbor was a little bit better than Tora Tora Tora because the picture and stuff was clearer and some other reasons, but thats my opinion. I wish that they'd do something like that for that battle of Midway.
Actually Japan attacked us because we froze their assets, and they badly needed oil. Not to insult our nation, but it was our fault for what happened. Our nation did not want war, but was asking for it when we boycotted and blockaded Japan like we did.

This movie shows the lives of 4 Americans that were caught up in Pearl Harbor. Fine, this movie may be a little cinematic but by God I love this movie. Its not American Bias, it just shows the grusome scenes that make it look biased but all in all it really was just what the movie shows, chaotic, alot of confussion and very grusome. @kanx04 Actually, WWII wasn't even called WWII until later. For all we know, WWII wouldn't have been called WWII without our entering the fray in combat. Also, we've been involved with the war well before that. This just marks the start of active hostilities and declaration of war with the axis.

No...it actually started September 18, 1931 - Japan attacked the railyards enmasse throughout Korea and by October had completely invaded Manchuria. The Empire of Japan attacked and raped 26 islands, 5 Chinese Provinces, and the Capital, Nanking, by 1937-38.
Adolf Hitler attacked Poland at 5:35am on September 1, 1939....beginning the European campaign; that's what you're thinking of.

@kanx04 I dont think at that time the war in Europe and Africa was really considered to be ww2 at that time....at least to the Americans. Besides France had been defeated and Britian was still fighting off the last of the blitz.....no real ww2 fighting was going on.
Besides I doubt Danny was as educated as you or I and maybe he just blurted it out...yh know REALISTICALLY

@kanx04 Ahh, World War II for the Americans did not start until after Pearl Harbor. They provided supplies and support for the allies, but up until December 7th, 1941 they had not yet entered formal engagements. They declared war on Japan on December 8th, 1941 and shortly after that engaged in Europe. So yeah, for the United States World War II started on the morning of December 7th, 1941.

prior to Pearl Harbor the were two wars going on, the war in Europe and North Africa had been raging since 1939 and the war in Asia had been raging since 1931, when Pearl Harbor was bombed the US entered the war in Asia only, but in accordance with the Tripartie Pact of 1940 Germany, Italy, their allies and the Japanese Allies declared war on the US turning two wars into a world war

This movie is overdramatized...the attack was tragic but no civilians died, hospitals and civilian areas were not targeted (Although Japan did commit terrible things to civilians in Asia). The only two civilian deaths were due to American Anti-Aircraft guns who missed their target. This was a large loss, but survivors of this have called this movie, "terrible" & "Utter hogwash" many times.

Luckily, all the U.S. Carriers were not in Pearl Harbor.....Mainly, WWI era battleships were the ones lost in the Pacific Fleet during the Pearl Harbor Surprise Attack.

Well they resign from reality to make better effect all the bomber with bombs or torbedos after they drop them immediately return to the carrier not fly between ships with speed which is looking like 100km/h. Destroying aircraft on the airplanes was the fighter escort task till they were in big danger or waste all the ammo. The whole attack on Pearl Harbor was a defeat from japanese side. Read about it in wikipedia or memorial ww2 sites. It just looks good but it was a simple fail.

Great video i think that Peearl harbor was a little bit better than Tora Tora Tora because the picture and stuff was clearer and some other reasons, but thats my opinion. I wish that they'd do something like that for that battle of Midway.

Actually Japan attacked us because we froze their assets, and they badly needed oil. Not to insult our nation, but it was our fault for what happened. Our nation did not want war, but was asking for it when we boycotted and blockaded Japan like we did.

So there was no global link until American joined in? The fact that Russia and all of the British Empire were currently at war with the axis powers in not only Europe but North Africa, the Middle East and not to mention South East Asia (including China), how is that not a global war?

This movie shows the lives of 4 Americans that were caught up in Pearl Harbor. Fine, this movie may be a little cinematic but by God I love this movie. Its not American Bias, it just shows the grusome scenes that make it look biased but all in all it really was just what the movie shows, chaotic, alot of confussion and very grusome. Its pretty much all HollyWood acting and fictional characters but this movie does have its Historical references to it.

"Pearl Harbor" is not a documentary and contains romance, therefore it is an insult to the national emotion. Also, it was made 30 years after "Tora Tora Tora" and the average youtuber is somewhat younger and may not know it properly(it is not on youtube). That might be a reason.
This seems to be more of a hatebase than a fanbase.
