this song has so much more meaning than other songs. this song talks about being an outsider, while other songs talk about people having a million friends with a perfect. this song talks about pain, and im glad to see that at least one band sees that.
@katrocks98 yeah, most of the songs nowadays talk about loves and breakups. so sick of those songs. we need something about friend, life, and something else.
the sounds on this video is terrible. anyone else having this issue? it sounds perfect with the other Harold T. Wilkins video but this one is all weird.
you are amazingly talented and fulfilled artists. should change the director of your videos - too heavy handed symbolism, not as subtle as your music.
I always listened to your acoustic music before your recorded stuff, I sort of associate your music with acoustic music, it was weird to hear drums and everything with it but its all good :) Come gig in London and you will make me a very very happy bunny.
I like the inspiration and effort that goes into these songs. And this video is very awesome. It seems to make a statement about the 'misfits', that they should spend less time being out of place, and instead find the place where they should be. As every heart has a home.
After 1947 and the earliest "flying saucer" sighting by Kenneth Arnold, Harold T. Wilkins became fascinated with the saucer phenomenon and plunged into extensive historical research, eventually producing two Fortean saucer books which were widely read during the 1950s. Wilkins dug through ancient literature and legend to find "evidence" of earlier sightings of flying saucers.
I love this song, but I'm trying to figure it's meaning. I know Harold Wilkins was a British journalist and writer but I'm not British so I'm not too familiar with his works. Maybe that's why I'm not getting the references. Any theories?

Wow.... I much prefer this video. It's dark and kooky. Something I might expect out of a They Might Be Giants + Queen collab haha Thumbs Up! (I much prefer saying 5 Stars too :l
I first heard them on David Letterman. Even my father thinks so: I think they stole the beginning. Just the instrument part. It sounds soo familiar! I've heard it somewhere before. Just can't come up with the name. Hmm..
Brilliant! I meant to see it when it was posted a week or so ago on some other site, but it didn't load well for me. The advent calendar bit was nice to see, too. Final product of video two for this song is amazing!

What a load of pretentious drivel--so the opposite of their music. Look for the vid of them just playing the song... much better.
