the game engine is merely a slower-paced COD4, which still makes it decent.

I also agree that at some points the game stopped being a game and more of a disturbing documentary.

The zombie mode is great until you get good at it, then it gets tedious.

Well mushroomanchilli, they're created a Vietnam Call of Duty 7 game as we speak. All those wars are very difficult to suffice, they were very bloody and the story about those wars are just unbelieveably hard to imagine. I'm really surprised there's an upcoming Vietnam game.

As for this game, it's really great. I love the WWII style. I agree that the Germans were scum, and should have been treated unfairly. I'd hate that those bastards would harm my comrades.

well i donno about you but there is always a lack of freedom in COD games, follow the path, take out the enemys, cutscene and repeated.

i personally think it was a step forward, with very fun Co-op, a few new weapons here and there (flame thrower) fun nazi zombie mode etc.

If you liked Cod 4 there is really no reason to enjoy this.

Well, I got the PS3 version of the game for Christmas this morning, and it is totally fucking awesome. The fact that they had an option to hide graphic content surprised me, though. I guess it's for parents who just can't learn not to buy their kids M-rated games. But it definitely disturbed me more than any other PS3 game I have, especially when the Japanese laid all those traps. Flamethrowers are so awesome, though. My favourite weapon in any video game.

The PC version is better (graphics aside) you get to blow of limbs depending on the type of gun you have...I noticed in the Xbox version and PS3 version doesn't have that.

The graphics are better than those of call of duty 4, especially on HD.

The "boxy" effect is less vissible and there has been alot of attention to intracet detail.

The graphics on this game are very good likewise the gameplay thats why the call of duty series has been very popular.

Personally I think the brutality and realism was good. Good meaning it added to the game. On the one hand the game was a blast, but the realism certianly made me think "My god, how did people go through this?" And it gave me an even higher respect for the vetrens of this war and all wars.

Personally, I think the "execution" choices, and the reference to the Japanese as "Tojos" was not crass at all, in the sense that although in reality it is crass, that's what it's supposed to be. Reality.
