I compared the 0-100 to a SE-R altima and you had him till you went to about 75ish then when you went to 3rd gear the Altima started pulling harder and got to 100 a bit quicker.

If you go forced induction, the 6 speed ratios are too close. The auto or 5 speed is better. I think the auto and 5 speed have a higher top speed due to gearing, but not 100 percent sure.

my first gear is non-existent, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pull hard but you you notice a loss in power in 5th and especially 6th....6th gear is long as hell

i have a 03 auto tib and yeah 1,2 gear they rock the shit but once you hit third it just sucks !!!

Oh so true. I have an '04 Kia Optima V6 auto (same tranny and engine as the Tibby V6) and the 1st gear is great, 2nd one bogs a bit up to 4500 rpm, then 3rd gear is struggling a bit.

Luckily, once you add a bit more power (around 40 whp or so), the tranny starts to become a blessing. You just need to add a lot more power.

The fastest Tiburons out there right now are autos...

I have vagina a tiburon and they seem like they are geared rly low. good take off speed, but the acceleration drops a good bit at high speeds.

Apperently the Autos are just as fast if not faster than the manuals for this type of car.

I just bought one (an 03 Tuscani), haven't taken delivery yet, but I had a nice test drive. Cool vid!

nice IM man but you should of got a manual it get to 100 a hell of alot quicker but it does sound nice for a tiburon check out my buick supercharged burnout the lines you see in the footage are from me earlier that day search up Buick supercharged and its the first video theres no sound tho thats the gay part about it youll see how much smoke was made at the end after my buddy gets the camera back out the window but nice acceleration on that vid man ill have to race you one of these days
