  • It wasn't a Lincoln that year -- just a "Continental".

  • One of the most deceptively designed cars ever built. From a distance, it looks small until you get closer. Than you see how large it really is. Totally awesome in every sense of the word..A vehicle well ahead of its time.

  • One complaint about this car, it's not sitting in my driveway.

  • Simply gorgeous. The car is so classic from that huge grill to those beautiful tail lights. What a perfect design.

  • breath taking

  • Amazing vehicle.

    Thanks for posting.

  • This is one of the most beautiful American cars ever built. In an ear of chrome, fins and excess, this clean design was years ahead of its time. Still looks amazing today.

  • Beautiful automobile! One point of clarification is in order though...the name Lincoln appears nowhere on this car. It is not a Lincoln and was not built by Fords Lincoln division. A whole new division was formed to produce the Mark ll. It was called the Continental Division of the Ford Motor Company...the entire car was hand built and originally sold for around $10,000 depending upon which options were specified.

  • astonishingly beautiful. fantastic piece of design history. you Americans sure knew how to make beautiful things back then!

  • This was Nightshade's car on the Flash TV series from the 1990s. They used this year or the 57 model for the 1955 flashback sequence in Ghost In The Machine.

  • There is no American car that has ever come close to this. Trust me!

  • Wow - what a treat to see this beautiful car. Thanks!! But it would have been nice to hear about the history of the car - or the history of the model. Otherwise it was great to see a truly historical and trend-setting American car.

  • if my dad saw this he would pass out

  • Are they the original rocker covers

  • Beautiful!
